I bought this for my 5year old because he’s obsessed with the star projector, but his other one wouldn’t stay on longer than 2 hours and he would wake up & come into my room every 2 hours in the middle of the night to ask me to come turn it back on, so I started searching for one without a timer, or with the ability to leave it on all night. This one was the only one I could find with the option to turn the timer function off, and had the longest running time which was 8 hours. All the other brands did not have the option to stay on longer than 2-3 hours max. So we of course went with this one and had high hopes as it seemed to have decent reviews. This thing worked fine for literally a day, then everything stopped working. The remote doesn’t work whatsoever, put brand new batteries in it the day we got it and worked fine that night, by day 2 half the buttons didn’t work and by day 3 it stopped working completely. The Astronaut light (the face/helmet part, not the moon part) just blinks like a strobe light and we cannot get it to stop, we’ve tried everything. I thought maybe it was just stuck on the blinking function until I realized there IS NO ‘blinking function’.. it’s just defective and you cannot get it to stop the blinking. I went through the manual 3 or 4 times thinking maybe I missed something or maybe there would be a factory reset of some sort, tried pressing every button, tried different outlets, nothing. I’m so annoyed. Because that second night my 5 year old went to bed with it working fine and woke up in the middle of the night screaming because the blinking was like a strobe light in his bedroom & it freaked him out. It now just blinks nonstop the second you turn it on and won’t do anything else. I’ve had it for 3 days. Returning it 😖

So it did work perfectly fine until today. We received it on October 10 and today the 11th of November it doesn’t work. 1 day after I can’t even exchange.

I purchased this astronaut light projector for my Grandsons Birthday. He was so excited to receive it! He absolutely loved it until it quit working only after a month of purchasing it. It will no longer turn on. So disappointing 😞
