These Black Hammer boots have been a pleasant surprise. They're surprisingly lightweight for steel toe caps, and I don't feel weighed down after a long shift. I've worn these for work for four days now and my feet aren't very comfy. They fit much more like a trainer than a boot and have quite a narrow toe box. A half size would be really helpful as much like many trainers these are slightly too small in my normal size. As a multi-drop LGV driver I go through boots quickly, but I don't think these ones will last as long as 'true' boots with a stiff sole. The sole is much more like a lightweight hiking boot or welly than a boot sole and has no stiffness to it. Overall if a half size was available I'd probably buy again at the right price, but I don't think I'd pay full ticket for them. The build quality seems reasonable but I do have my doubts about any sole protection. Certainly wouldn't wear them if I was worried about nails or screws underfoot.

This is the second pair of Black Hammer boots I've received through Vine and they really are some of the best quality on the market. They're comfortable from first use, don't disintegrate after a few months, and wash easily. What's not to love? The price, maybe, but trust me they're worth every penny. I fully expect these to last me ten plus years.

I got these because my current work boots were falling apart. The shows have very soft and comfy interior, they are quite light for their size, my foot fits perfectly fine and the sole is quite soft and easy to walk with too. Overall I am satisfied with their quality and the comfort they provide to my feet is great. Good value for money.
