GLASSES CASE in soft leather dark brown PAUL MARIUS can receive all sizes of glasses Vintage & Retro PAUL MARIUS

Either im going insane or I bought a different glasses case from all the other reviewers of this product; all of which are 5 star.The glasses case arrived and it just is not fit for purpose, it will not protect sunglasses or spectacles of any kind unless it is just being used as a dust protector; see all the issues I had with the case below:The leather is as thin as paper and the case is ridiculously soft and wouldnt offer any protection to glasses what so ever. If you put this in a travel bag the sunglasses would get crushed or break and probably even scratched.The glasses case is very small and in my opinion wouldnt fit most sunglasses, maybe small reading spectacles only. My Ray Ban sunglasses barely fitted in the case and I had no chance some larger sunglasses I own.The locking mechanism to close this glasses case is just a long piece of thin leather that wraps around the case (see pictures on Amazon), this would come undone from time to time in you bag and the glasses would simply fall out and again get damaged.The glasses case looks tatty, and not like the pictures on Amazon, more like something you would get from a Turkish market and a poor Turkish market at that.The case is definitely made from real leather which is good but it stinks especially when you open the case, some people may say this is a good sign but for me it was too pungent and stunk out my room in which it was left in.To summarie...... If you want a paper thin, very soft leather glasses case that stinks like a cow in the rain and your sole use is to protect your tiny spectacles from dust and keep it in one place permanently then this is the glasses case for you.I am just not convinced the 5 star reviews on here are genuine as this product does not offer any protection for glasses which is its fundamental purpose, or do we have the usual situation of the other reviewers being given the case FREE for their unbiased review - I deliberately buy elsewhere when I see that comment and needs to be stopped by Amazon.I returned this case immediately for a full refund as it my opinion it was an abomination.

I really do like this case, however it does smell rather unpleasant which I am hoping will eventually disappear.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my father as he normally sticks to the hard cases which while practical lack a certain "finesse".My first thought's when opening was that it was rather "slim" and "lightweight" which may be a plus for some people. Very soft leather which smells nice, and easy on the eye.

Hum should have listened to the feedbackI love leather (well not like that!) and part of that is the smell - but I think that this case had not been properly cured or something in the tanning process had not gone right - it just outright stank. I have other leather products that feedback have said smell but not like this!I have returned the item

Beautifully made, soft leather, bought for a gift for my husband for a wedding anniversary, 3 years, leather, was the perfect gift.

oops ! THE GLASSES CASE'S ARE PAUL MARIUS NOT GUSTI.........THEY ARE PERFECT, nice and light not as heavy as optician cases ideal for slipping into your summer shorts!
