Dont guess, use a thermometer
I have this for everyday cooking. It is life changing. Super easy to use. Really acurate. Nice small size - both for putting into meat and for storing. Easy to clean.

Perfect Thermometer.
There are no fancy gimmicks with this thermometer. Turn on, reads the temperature, job done. Bought to read temperature of milk, perfect!

Nothing to shout about, an average product that performs slowly and leaves you wishing for another
Feels very cheap and flimsy and performs just as it looks. Honestly a little disappointed but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for which is sort of true in this case. For me the biggest issue is it takes ages to get a read. When testing a cake for a temperature, the temperature would climb but slowly. There is no backlight which I wouldn't bring up but it became apparent that it's needed in this type of things. Won't return but definitely not recommending.

USEFUL FOOD THERMOMETER
The thermometer works fine, responds quickly and is easy to use. It would be better if the probe guard clipped onto the thermometer rather than just being a loose fit
