Little Critter: Just My Lost Treasure

This one is no different. Spoiler alert :)Firstly, you have Little Critter almost being in trouble for missing half of his socks (one sock of each pair). (This happens in our family too. :) I think the washer must be hungry for socks.) Little Critter sets out on an adventure to find his missing socks. Looking through home, he finds many a lost treasure. (Again, when we tidy up, we end up finding lost stuff too, a great motivator for kids to tidy their rooms). He goes on to his friend's houses to look for his socks and finds even more lost treasure. By the time he gets home, all he cares about is all the wonderful treasure he had found. Finally, his mom finds the culprit for the lost socks - it is Blue to be blamed. A happy end, socks in hand and a good moral to all: 1. Tidying up finds you lost treasure. And 2. Never allow your dog access to the laundry room :DMy daughter loved it. Her favorite part was when he found his cowboy hat. :) And I loved the part where Little Critter shares one of his treasures with another child. A little good lesson squeezed in in just the right way :)

Any book by Mercer Mayer is a winner for child & adult! I buy them for my grandchild & love to read the books to them. He is a good author with offering good story along with a bit of learning.
