Chemical Process Safety (International Edition) Paperback – October 6, 2011

The questions at the end of the chapter did not match with the non international edition, but all of the content in the chapter was the same. Worth the savings to have to look elsewhere for the questions when doing homework.

Bought this book as a reference for my Capstone course, couple pages in and I can positively say, it was worth it! The authors way of presenting the theory, creating a solid base before showing a real life example is excellent!

Be warned that the problem sets in the international version do not match the problems in the US edition. If you need this book for a course with homework assigned from the book, be sure to get the US edition.

I know the authors and they are commited to teaching undergraduate chemical engineers chemical process safety. Great job!

Cheaper version than the non-international; just watch out for problem number differences.

Missing critical pages in chapters. I didn't mind the missing end of chapter questions, however, I can not tolerate missing pages that contain crucial equations and derivations (in every chapter).

Da molti anni utilizzo questo testo, ed altri, per svolgere le valutazioni, sia di sicurezza che di affidabilità, sugli impianti di processo. Per impianti di processo si intendono sia i classici impianti chimici o petrolchimici che centrali di energia e siderurgici.Trovo che dalla prima edizioni in avanti il libro sia migliorato sempre fino a renderlo, con questa terza edizione, uno dei migliori libri disponibili su questo soggetto.Consiglio inoltre di acquistare anche il libro dello stesso autore edito da AIChE.Unico difetto: la copertina morbida, che costa poco ma resiste anche altrettanto poco: peraltro questo tiene basso il prezzo.

All process engineers and safety professionals should read this book and keep for reference. Purchased foreign edn for about Rs 4500 few years ago for library at workplace. Now I saw this Indian edn at such low price and purchased as personal copy.I feel that process safety should be introduced compulsorily as one of the subjects for last semester students of engineering of all disciplines. I dont think there can be any other book that can be used as text book by students with all topics at one place as in this book. Books written/edited by Trevor Kletz and F.P.Lees, etal can be used for reference apart from this one as text book.

Perfect the book contains various aspects of process safety ,language is easy to understand and author has attempted to present contents of the book in a concise manner
