JagBag Deluxe Pure Silk Sleeping Bag Liner

Functionally, this liner is well made, really comfortable and is very light for backpacking. It comes in a handy little pouch.In hot weather, it was great to use on its own, and when its been used in cold weather, made the sleeping bag feel much warmer.It has washed well (did it by hand using shampoo or dilute washing up liquid!!) and air dries really quickly (I drip dry it in a shower cubicle if I can't dry it outside). Although the dye seems to stain the rinsing water (definitely hand wash on its own), the bag retains its colour and does not seem to have faded.The really beautiful colours are an added bonus!Update: had the bag for about 3 years now and its still performing very well.

Love this - lightweight and very pretty - felt so soft and kept me cool and bizarly warm too on chilly nights in the Sahara . no zips so need to climb in but that is made clear in reviews and siuted me fine , felt nice and secure - Washes well - dries quickly and - love the pillow pocket - I reversed it so had opening next to me on the inside and popped precious stuff inside under pillow . Recommend this product - will even use in UK too

Functionally good, made a little difference to warmth of sleeping bag, 1 or 2 degrees as expected and packs down very small and is very light.Don't expect silk pejamas feel as it's has a very fine resin coating, as mentioned in another review. Will try washing a few times as may go or wear off.

This liner really is pure silk, unlike some others that say they are silk, and pure bliss once one is able to get into it!I am quite a large lady and have found this liner really difficult to get into but once in, there is plenty of room and a luxurious feel to it. It was so difficult for me to get into it that I gave up using it for my 10 day camping trip, for fear of tearing the seam. Having said that, I have bought a 22" lightweight zip, so intend to undo the side seam and fit the zip which will cure the problem for me and will be well worth the effort of the alteration. For smaller, lighter weight folks, I'm sure getting in/out wont be a problem but for me, the opening wasn't enough and as it is such a beautiful product, albeit expensive, I decided to put in the zip. I haven't washed it yet so cannot comment on how well it will wash.

My daughter took this with her for two months travelling around SE Asia in her gap year and said it was wonderful, used it all the time. And it came back in perfect condition despite its continuous use. She said it was great when the bed sheet looked less than inviting, the pillow pocket can be stuffed with clothes, towels or anything to act as a pillow, and it was just enough to cover her without making her too hot. Would definitely recommend for any trip in a warm climate. We bought the purple one which is a beautiful deep colour - very subtly mottled like marbling which adds to the attraction. Easy to hand wash and dries quickly, packs small, adds little to backpack weight. Could use it as a sleeping bag liner too. Rectangular in shape.

Great quality, must-have travel accessory. With silk's great performance-for-weight one of these is a real must-have. Comfortable, versatile, lightweight and packs small. Use it as a sleeping bag liner, or with less-than-savoury bed linen, or on its own in hot climates, or wrapped around the neck and head on a long, cold bus journey, or just sit in it to keep a cold draught off your legs!

I bought this for when I go travelling to South America soon, but decided to use it the other day when I was cold in the middle of the night. It's amazing how something with such thin material can be warm! The rectangular shape makes it really comfortable, there's enough space to move around and stretch your legs out, and the pillow flap is brilliant - it basically acts like a built-in silk pillowcase. The liner is easy to fold up and fit back into the bag provided, and it's super light, weighing about 145g. The product also arrived quickly with Prime delivery. Would recommend to anyone.

Loved it, used while travelling Malaysia, used as a sleeping bag on its own as was so hot! Was lovely and cool and felt roomy and didn’t get tangled up! Loved the flap at the top so could cover my head in the morning if was too sunny! 4/5 because mosquitos can definitely get me through this but apart from that was perfect and so worth the extra money than others on the market. Plus looks v cool!Washed easily by hand and seams very strong as caught the edge on a few occasions getting up!
