Jan Van Haasteren Food Frenzy - 2 x 1000 Piece Special Edition Jigsaw Puzzle

The puzzle that I just started has several pieces that are bent, not happy as quality is usually very good. The cardboard is split and fat.

As the description says, there's two related JvH 1,000-piece puzzles in this box. Both have been released separately in the past, but Jumbo is re-releasing a number of JvH's older puzzles in combo boxes. The two puzzles here are "Clash of the Bakers" and "Seafood Supper". Neither are "easy" puzzles, although I found Bakers to be easier than Seafood, simply because of the larger distinct areas, so sorting by colour is more advantageous in Bakers. Both have large areas of people and faces, which are harder to piece together (sorry!) than larger colour-specific areas. Overall, I'd say these are above-average in complexity, and I would not recommend them for a starting puzzlers. For those who like JvH puzzles and want a challenge, these are just fine!

I always like doing Jan Van Haasteren because the pieces are so sturdy and strong and do not bend like other puzzle do, but I only wish that the company would sell more of there double 1000 piece puzzles as they are differently value for money.I would recommend this product to anyone that loves doing joint puzzles.Brian R

LOVE these puzzles! The pictures are so much fun and they are of fine quality, too, with each piece interlocking perfectly.

I had this for my birthday 2 weeks ago & have taken my time doing the two puzzles. I usually only do about 1 hour an evening.These jigsaws are always so 'busy', I love doing them. These 2 were very interesting and always have things in them that make me laugh! They are very worthwhile to do.I keep them and do them again, probably next year. I have another on order for my Christmas present.The pieces are nice & thick and fit together perfectly.
