These office chair wheels spin and roll smoothly and do not mark wooden floors. I'm using them to replace the original rollerblade wheels of my chair because I find the latter tend to move around too much.

I have hardwood floors and was using a floor protector. When one of my wheels broke, I switched to the Roller Blade style rubber wheels and ditched the floor protector. What I found was that the Roller Blade style wheels raised the chair up too much and had a bit too much freedom for my liking. I wanted to go back to a traditional office chair style wheel that was lower but would still protect my hardwood floors.These wheels fit the bill perfectly. The wheels are rubber vs a hard plastic so that will provide protection for my floors and the height and additional friction afforded by having the two wheels fixed my chair back to what I have been used to for years. I really like the way these roll.
