Tested in the rain, under the faucet, and with various inks and pens. Gel ink smears. Reguler ink pens work the best. The paper stays solid and readable. I did not try with a pencil, I don't think it would work well. They make a wet-use pencil for construction, but it is a really large lead for lumber marking. Not sure about this type of paper with those large construction pencils. Test and review by Sam.

I work outside pressure washing in a tank that holds water keep in top pocket sometimes falls out into 3 inches of water have had no problems

First thing I did when I got these was rip a page out, write something on it, drop it in the sink under water, crumple it up while wet. Paper did not tear, ink did not even smear. Paper eventually dried off as well. Incredible.

This is much smaller than the regular notepads I would get at the base PX.

Great for the bugout bag or glove box

my bf is a farmer so these are just perfect! he also takes tons of notes, just as a habit. he now has one on almost all his equipment, and even stuck on in his survival gear bag!

Just as good as the right in the rain pads but cheaper. I've used them out in the elements. They will work for you.
