This is subject to being updated on down the road, but - so far - I'm pretty unimpressed.Despite what the package says about heat levels, I have had it on high for a couple of days and - in a temperate room in a temperate climate - the jar contents are only at 76 F.The package includes an insert promising that an email sent to a provided address will result in the receipt of a free e-book. The email was sent a couple of days ago ... no book yet.I'll update if anything happens - good or bad - which warrants a change in my opinion, but - as of this moment - I'm probably going to go on and try the second warmer (I bought the kit of 2) and then return one or both of them.This is the promised update:The link to promised (and valueless ...) book finally came after multiple requests. It wasn't worth the effort it took to request it.The device continued to fail to reach even the lowest promised temperature at the highest possible heat setting.Attempts to find a way to contact Customer Service at either the manufacturer or the vendor were fruitless.I am returning the item as defective ... because, you know, it just simply does NOT work as promised.

This item works great. Easy to use

Too stiff, too small would not fit around a small 1 gallon jug let alone my 2 gallon. The temperature was guess. High medium and low? It was not a set in degrees.n

Intuitive and easy. Getting the strap tight enough was a little difficult but a small problem compared too the benefits of the heater, which keeps my batch warmer.

This is a wonderful heater since it has a controller with it. We have had it on both low and medium heats and it works great. We were concerned that the belt might not wrap around our larger 2 gallon jug, but were delighted that it does indeed fit. Have ordered one as a Christmas present for our friend who got us our first SCOBY.

Was using a heater without and temp control. My kombucha was getting too warm in summer. Switched to these and low setting is perfect.

Just started using these belts on my 1st ferment batch and I am pleased with the results so far.

I use this heater for kombucha. It works perfectly. I’ve ordered about 6 and no trouble with any of them. The low setting(sometimes medium) does the job! Comparatively...excellent for the $!
