Pricey but very nice lock, good feeling combination wheels, loving needing to press the button for it to unlock rather than it just popping open.Feels well made, I'm using mine to secure a keter storage box which needed a longer clasp Vs normal sized padlock.

Sadly, due to increased crime in our area down to crack heads moving in, we've had to take to locking our back gates at night. Instead of a padlock where we had to remember to take a key, I wanted one with a code and this one is perfect, it's not foolproof obviously, but it's just that little bit more peace of mind where the gates can't just be opened easily, would make someone in a hurry move on to the next one! Easy to set the code, easy to use, great value for your money, would recommend when you want that little bit more security.

Firstly I will say that this is an item I purchased myself and not part of the Amazon Vine program.Moved into a new house and I initially purchase one of these but then purchased another a couple of days later. The first being for a side gate, the second for one of those garden storage boxes. I will say from the outset that I am no expert when it comes to padlocks.These feel fairly sturdy and robust enough to do the job I want them two. I specifically went for the longer shackle as I find them easier to use. These has a 4 digit combination and an interesting way of setting the number. You must push the button on the bottom of the padlock to release the shackle. Then you have to take out a screw on the top of the padlock and pull up the end of the shackle that is still attached to the padlock – it doesn’t come all the way off. You set your combination and then follow the steps in reverse. Your new combination is set.The tumblers spin without too much effort and it’s easy enough to get them in the correct position for unlocking. Overall, I pleased with them. It’s way too early to say how well they are going to stand up to the elements but we’re into October now, so we’ll see.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. It doesn't look as tough as a great clunky padlock, so won't draw attention to itself.

We've used six of these locks for our allotment association shop and tool shed for the last few years and sadly have had to replace them every year or so. They get used most days, often multiple times a day. Unfortunately after 6 months or so outside, they often start failing and require a firm bash to open them. We have tried keeping them oiled and using lubricant, but eventually they always seem to get jammed up. Perhaps if they were only getting light use, they would last longer? We are now moving on to trying different locks as these just aren't tough enough for us.

Excellent product easy to use.

There is a tiny, tiny screw to remove from the top of the lock case to set the new combination - replacing it afterwards is super fiddly and almost impossible as the screw will not readily connect easily with the female thread. It took me about 30 attempts (and drops and loss of the tiny screw) before I achieved it. I have a second one as yet, not deployed, but hoping to get a refund for both, as I can’t face removing and replacing the screw to try and set the combination.

Smooth and weather resistant had one for two years on a gate can vouch for that

Although the bigger version of this worked great, you can immediately tell this is a totally different construction and quality. Combination is difficult to set, and difficult to open. Imo this is a failed product and says a lot about the company that’s willing to let it through QC and sell to customers as is.

This is a great easy to use padlock. It is heavy duty. The easy of changing the lock code is nice. It definitely will keep unwanted people off our mountain unless the have a big lock cutter, good luck with that. Can't wait to see how it operates during our winter months.
