So this is the Ecomed wrist blood pressure monitor by Medisana.Comes with its own storage box and multiple instruction leaflets in different languages.Took me a while to locate the English instructions,but got there in the end:)Batteries are included,easy to set up time,date and year.You can save up to 60 readings under 2 different users.The wrist cuff is well made and fits well around my wrist.Took 2 readings each time it was easy to find my heart level as shown in the illustrative diagram in the instruction manual.The monitor automatically inflates around your wrist to find your heart level,then starts to deflate as it takes your reading.You get 2 values the systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels.Furthermore,the pulse value appears beside the traffic light system.This is a good product,but would be nice if they provided you with a chart to analyse the results,instead of just relying on the traffic light system,which is why I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5.

A brilliantly designed wrist bp cuff ,It's easy to use ,doesn't cause the too tight feeling I get when using an arm monitor and seems accurate.The cuff itself fits well,the readout is easy to see,Ilove the coloured guide on the side of the window that tells you if the reading is high or not.The best thing though is that it comes with a hard plastic case which it all fits in for storage or transport, this isn't very large so it would be easy to carry in a shoulder bag etc

If you can work out how to use this blood pressure monitor then that's fine.There were no instructions included in English.Such a silly over sight.

Very hard to recommend this product, I have an arm monitor, verified by my GP as I suffer from high Blood pressure, on testing with both this and my arm machine for comparison, the wrist monitor is grossly over by about 15%...Maybe worth getting if you have it checked by your GP, but mine was less than impressed, calling it a glorified toy!

This is a very useful feature to track your blood pressure over time. It can do this for two people.The readout is large so that everything is easy to read. There is also an indicator that maps your blood pressure to indicate whether you have hypertension (high blood pressure). It will also indicate if you have an irregular heart rhythm.Set up.Nothing to do here just attach the unit to your wrist and press start.Accuracy.This unit is very particular about your position. I found it had to be just right or it over reads the values. The picture on the box shows the perfect reading position, sitting with your arm wrist join level with your heart. Once you get used to doing the reading in this position everything reads accurately. We checked accuracy against a much more expensive model and this unit is fine, identical readouts.Overall.This is a well-made, accurate and inexpensive monitor. It works well providing you are sat down correctly and follow the simple instructions. I checked its results with a much more expensive monitor and the output was identical so it is accurate.This receives a recommendation from me.

I am sure it works well but until I get instructions in English I will not know.

I've used to a standard arm-cuff digital monitor to track my BP, which I tend to find uncomfortable and fiddly, so I jumped at the chance to give this wrist monitor a go. I was particularly interested to see how it measured up to the traditional cuff measurements - would there be any payoff between ease-of-use and accuracy?First off, I'm more than happy with the accuracy of the unit - using the two side by side, there was vary little variance in readings. I'd definitely trust the Medisana wrist unit for reliable BP measurements.It's also a great boon not to have to wrap a pump cuff around the upper arm in the traditional way. The wrist strap method is both easier to attach, and a LOT more comfortable during the reading. It makes regular measuring of BP quicker and much less hassle, which is great if you find it a bit of a chore.The readings and machine functions are pretty no-nonsense, no-frills - you get systolic, diastolic and pulse, and it will store the last 60 readings for you with date and time. The 'traffic light system' is interesting, but I've not paid too much attention to it - it could be a nice simple way to get into health / BP monitoring though, if you find the numbers confusing.Five stars for an affordable, easy-to-use and accurate monitor. It's ideal for those who might not be used to self-monitoring, and want something as simple as possible without compromising on reliability.

Mis padres tenían uno muy parecido a este y se nos estropeó con el paso de los años y ahora estamos encantados con este tensiometro; va perfectamente y se ajusta muy bien a la muñeca, ya que yo tengo las muñecas muy finas. Viene con instrucciones en todos los idiomas y un estuche de plástico duro muy práctico para que lo puedas guardar si ocupar demasiado.
