It was a great buy. I saved $80.00 by purchasing this lamp from Lampedia instead of purchasing it directly from Toshiba. I know this because I did call Tosihba and received a price of $ 179.00 plus shipping.It was very easy to install myself and I 'm not one of those home fix it guys either. The only negative thing that I can say is that the little screws that came with the lamp did not fit the TV. I just removed the old screws from the burnt out bulb and reused them on the new bulb. It worked great!!!

It would have been a five star, but the screws were different and thank goodness I still had the old ones. Other than that the bulb is brighter than the last one I bought from Electrified. Got this one through Lampedia. Now let's just hope it last longer than 10 months too. The glass covers the whole bulb like the O.G. one and I will post how long this one last. It was delivered 3 days before they estimated, which I love. Installed 6/14/12. Post people!!!!!........Today is Dec. 26th and it went out. Don't waste your time. buy the oem bulb. [...]

The lamp comes in an assembly which didn't fit in my Toshiba 62HM116. I was forced to take apart both the old and new assemblies to replace the old lamp with the new one. The heads on some of the screws in the new assembly were badly stripped making the process more difficult. The new lamp is working fine. The brightness is very good. Just be prepared for working with some tiny screws and the delicate lamp if you order this.

fit perfectly, works fine

This was my first time having to change a lamp on this television. The lamp is much larger than on my old televisions and I was slightly hesitant that it was going to be difficult to accomplish. Luckily, it was quite the opposite. Over 10 years and 3 television sets, this was by far the easiest replacement. The lamp is designed to easily slide into the housing and this lamp brand was sturdy and I did not feel as if I were going to break it during the replacement. The picture is bright and clear, and I don't worry that it is straining any other area of the device's components to compensate for poor quality. As long as nothing else goes wrong with the set, it will be my go to lamp for many years to come!

When I first received the product, it worked on and off. Within a week, it completely died on me. I informed customer service and they told me to send it back, notified them, and they would replace the item. I haven't heard from them a peep from them after the product was delivered UPS. I have sent several e-mails to them and to Amazon about the problem. Since then, the issue has not been resolved. I'm $75 short for the product and $12 missing for the UPS delivery.

So far so good only had the Lamp since 1/20/12, working great. This is a excatly like the original lamp with a full glass cover over the filament. Hopfully it will last.

My search for a decently price bulb for my 72 inch screen still continues. The bulb is not good quality at all. The tv takes 3 restarts normally from this bulb not being bright enough. It gives me a picture that is 80% of what i had before with a competitor. I would not get this one if you are looking for a replacement bulb.
