On my original charger the "pin" that goes into the laptop, had somehow bent, so I've been setting in down in just the right way to get it to charge, without the pin dropping out.When I saw this Vainco adapter at a reasonable price, I ordered it.. it arrived quickly in a sturdy, handsome box.I didn't have to do anything but plug it in and it was charging... my only concern is the new charging "pin" is less substantial, not as thick, as the original. But it stayed put and did the job. I didn't "time it", but it took about a half an hour for a full charge on my Samsung Chromebook 3, while I was working on it.Even though it worked well, the pin that plugs into the laptop has me worried, so I only gave it 4 stars.. looks like it could easily bend, sometime down the road.. but for now, it's doing the job.UPDATE: I've now take two stars off of the 4 I had given this, so now it only has 2 stars. I ended up returning this charger... The adapter is Huge, stands up too tall, wants to topple over, won't stay securely plugged in to the surge protector and gets too hot. It also won't stay plugged into the chromebook! My worries about the "pin" being too narrow, came true in that it started sliding out!I ordered a more compact charger with a folding plug with a cord that comes out the side of the adapter, rather than going straight up in the air. This one slays low and doesn't topple. I found this new one on Amazon with next day delivery. (AC Charger Power Adapter Supply for Samsung Chromebook 3 XE500C13 XE500C13-K03US XE501C13-K01US XE501C13-K02US) It also has a more substantial "pin" that goes into the side of the chromebook, so hopefully it won't bend like my last one did or slip out, like this one did. The new one is also $4 less than the reviewed charger, above..It arrived today, and I'm very pleased.. I'll write a specific review for this new one after I've had it a while.I hope this was helpful.

Great replacement charger for my sons chromebook only drawback to it I would say is it get pretty warm when plugged in and it’s BIG! Like really BIG! When it’s plugged into the socket it covers the one below rendering it useless.

Bought a different one when my daughter lost her charger.. I didn’t know what it looked like and just believed the title when it said that it was Samsung and the correct charger.. that charger stopped working and damn near killed my chrome book. Bought this one and it works great! Wish I would have looked up what the charger was supposed to look like from the get go. Would have purchased this one last year! Woulda shoulda coulda!

I had needed a replacement charger for at least one year. My original one got bent and did not have a snug fit. I had to apply constant pressure or position the Chromebook awkwardly to try to keep the power flowing long enough to charge, which normally failed. The new charger looks just like the original one (I checked the compatible model numbers in the description before I purchased.) Within about 15 minutes after I first plugged it in, my Samsung Chromebook was fully powered. It was a steady charge, with the blue light remaining on without flickering to red while charging.

This is exactly the kind of charger I was looking for. I was in 4 stores in one day and all of the charger I got were the wrong one, even when I got the help from the team members.

This was a great replacement for my chrome Samsung laptop it was the exact same size that I needed I did not have to exchange it it works as if I bought it with my own laptop

Works as expected. It seems easy to break but the original was as well
