Fairly good for the price
This is my first spiralizer. It takes a little getting used to, and there seems to be quite a bit of waste as the vegetable only be inserted as far down as the top of the spiralizer and you end up with about 2" of vegetable to chop/slice/julienne by hand. Also not the easiest to clean - I want to see how long the cleaning brush lasts after being scraped against the cutting blades every time I clean it. On the positive side, the blades are very sharp, the "grips" on the side make it fairly easy to hold, and it's compact enough to store easily

BUY THIS. YOU NEED IT.
Great purchase especially for the price! I have been wanting a spiralizer for forever, and I finally broke down and bought this one. For the price, it can not be beat. I have prime, and so within two days, this little beauty showed up on my doorstep! Since then, I have used it several times to spiralize zucchini and crook neck squash! I actually teach at a culinary kids camp, and one of our campers had a gluten allergy. On pasta day, she got to use this spiralizer to make squash noodles and she loved it! This would be a cool tool for a family with kids who don't eat enough veggies! Tastes great sautéed with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, or would pair well with some sauce like alfredo sauce!

Makes great "noodles"
I love making "noodles" with this out of zucchini and yellow squash. They taste even better than spaghetti. I also use this to slice carrots into ribbons for salads. It's easy and quick.I'm only giving this four stars because it's easy to cut yourself and because it doesn't feel very durable. But at least it's cheap if I need to replace it. Also, the smaller blades don't work as well as the larger.

Sharp edges on handle... Disappointed
Opened it up, almost looked used and also immediately could see the edges where you have to hold it are sharp and dangerous. I do not mean the blade... just the stainless metal on each side. I opted to return for something a little more substantial and safer. I did not use the product so I can not vouch for how effectively it works, but I could see you would be limited to a certain size vegetable. I chose to go with the Paderno World Cuisine A4982799 Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer also sold on Amazon. Check it out - if you have the room to store it, it's much better and more versatile.

Spiral Veggies and Slice Fingers!
This item should be banned from sale in the US. It's design is COMPLETELY ridiculous! The Metal pieces that are on the outside to hold on to are sharp enough to slice skin! They serve no purpose. This device is laughable. The metal pieces serve no purpose! The plastic is completely rigid and would work just fine without the 2 sharp-edged metal pieces attached. The imprint on it should say "finger slicer". This item should be used on a sketch of SNL that shows a chef using it and his fingers are shredded and bleeding into the salad! Talk about black-hearted goods! Amazon needs to take this off their site.

Needed to find a way to cook zucchini from my garden, made spaghetti, added chicken and alfredo sauce, and voila! It is a little hard to operate, may invest in a more expensive version.

so so
I dont think this slicer did a better job than using a kitten knife; but it may save some time is we do not wish to clean it after using....

So Pleased!
I love it! I thought of buying one of the larger and much more expensive ones, but wanted to try out spiralized veggies with a less expensive type. It worked so well I will stick with this one! The larger ones may work well if your making a dish for a large family, but for me this is perfect!
