This blue lotus essential oil from Amazing Botanicals is incredibly fragrant!The scent is a cloyingly sweet floral: almost like a superhero created from jasmine, rose, and lily.The eye dropper works well to control how much you dispense. A little goes a looooong way!The bottle seems to seal well, yet somehow I could smell it even before it was opened. (Maybe there was a spill from another bottle at the warehouse??) Anyway, I've chosen to store the bottle in its own plastic zip bag to better control when the fragrance is released.Overall, an amazing essential oil.

I am used to a higher quality of blue lotus oil and this isn't it, but I can't return it. I thought I checked that before wasting my money. it has a weird secondary smell, Nothing compares to the higher quality I am used to provided by "SZEssentials" on ETSY. Once you try her oil, you won't waste your money searching for better quality to save money like I have. the way the scent notes touch your energy field. This oil didn't have the same effect at all. Very disappointing.

I am a bit of an EO freak and have many different oils, but did not have blue lotus EO. Well, this EO is a wonderful surprise. It smells like a nice, upscale floral shampoo. I did the paper towel test and the EO completely evaporated leaving no oil stain so it is the real deal. It is a nice price for what you get as a little goes a long way. I mixed it with fractionated coconut oil for a nice skin moisturizer, which is very necessary here in AZ. Can’t wait to make other things with it, like shampoo and deodorant. It also smells nice in a diffuser—it takes just a few drops to make your house smell great (it is good for sleep and anxiety relief). The EO I received came with a handy dropper, which I really need. The label doesn’t provide much information, so searching the interwebs is your friend. It’s really great for skin and hair care. This is a lot of oil for the nice price and high quality EO. It is also made in the USA. Highly recommended! Would make a nice gift too.

First, it was very well wrapped, and that's great cos mine was leaking. Second, it is a very strong scent. I am very sensitive to scent, but I've never smelled "Blue Lotus" I don't think this can be used on skin, even with a carrier oil. It's the most drying "oil" I've ever tried, and I just put a drop on my hand. I haven't tried it in a diffuser, but can't imagine I'd like it. It's just too strong, for me, but I can see how others would like it, and think that's the best use. I researched Blue Lotus prior to using it, and it's banned in several countries (and Louisiana?) due to having a psychoactive effect. I have no idea if this is authentic 100% Blue Lotus as I don't have anything to compare it to, but I felt no effects...fortunately? 👀 Made in US, seems like a nice product for a diffuser, if you like the scent, but just not for me.

I didn't know I would like Blue Lotus, but I love floral scents. This is so yummy smelling. Floral is my happy place for sure. I've used this both as an essential oil in a diffuser to brighten up a room and as a few added drops in my candle making. It really brought out the best notes when added to a mix I had for a candle.I will definitely be buying more blue lotus essential oil.

I second what other reviewers have said - you don't need much of this oil to make the entire room smell divine. Very floral, very potent. I like this scent in short bursts and smaller doses, otherwise wow it's a lot. But the smell is heavenly. This would actually be good for a diffuser in an outdoor space, because it would still be noticeable but the crazy lotus would have somewhere to go. Big ran. Recommend. Going to try that outdoor thing for my next gathering!

I don't know what lotus flower actually smells like but according to google it smells light, floral, and airy. I would say that described this smell. To me this oil smells like roses and honeysuckle with a slight(very slight) grass scent. It's mostly a floral, lightly sweet. I would not use it on it's own but I would add it to another scent that might need a floral undertone. It is a bit pricey for 1oz size but it seems to be prices competitively with similar products.
