Living in the desert means we can’t use our cold plunge outside for the entire year without spending a lot on ice. This cover helps us to maintain the waters cold temps for much longer. The attached lid with zipper keeps dirt and debris out of the water. The zipper quality is great, and we haven’t had any trouble opening or closing it, even with it being exposed to lots of dust. The drain is easy to access without having to remove insulated spaceship cover. Worth the price considering we now purchase less ice, less frequently. Fits the 88 gallon Cold Pod very well.

Fits my large pod company pod perfectly. Big enough to cover water in/outlet hoses which is good since the cover cutouts don’t align with my particular pod. Definitely helps keep water cooler.

I love this cover! It helps keep my chiller running less and also helps control condensation around the plunge tub!! I don’t have a cold pod tub but it fit perfect around it. Having the zipper helps keep anything from getting in the water as well.

Got it for a 29.5” plastic cold plunge from a different brand. Put a sheet of bubble insulation sandwiched underneath and wrapped the exterior with this cover. Fits like a glove and has a hole for cold water return from chiller. In 90+ F weather in Florida and just fires up for the first time. Down to 57F and counting. Happy plunging y’all!

Keeps my ice tub cooler in the Florida heat.

I bought a cold plunge tub this summer. While it doesn't get extremely hot here (near the beach in so cal), the black tub would warm up during the day and I wasn't able to get it down to the temperatures I wanted, no matter how much Ice I put in it (I know I put 70 lbs in one time, and it dropped from about 76F to something like 58F). I was frustrated to realize the tub would be effective only in the winter, so I took it down for the past couple of months. I wished it at least had a reflective cover. This is a great solution! Besides being reflective, it clearly has sturdy insulation internally. And the cover is above the tub, whereas the tub's own cover is black and floating on the surface, transferring heat in when the sun's up. That means that the tub water could conceivably get hotter than the air temperature if you can't keep it in the shade—unless you have this. This cover keeps the tub from heating up in the day, the sun is no longer hitting black, but a reflective surface that further has insulation under it, plus an air gap to reduce heat transfer. And the fact that the cover zips over the tub keeps out the small leaves and pollen that were finding their way into the water with the tub's floating cover. About the fit: My cold plunge tub ("Frosty") is listed at 120 gallons, so I ordered the XL size. But I calculated the tub capacity from the dimensions, and it's probably closer to 90 gallons, so this cover is noticeably bigger around than my tub. But it's not a problem at all, the cover is stiff enough to stand up, you don't need a tailored fit for this to work out just fine. And my tub has inlet and output fittings for a chiller, so the looser fit is actually better. This is a must-have, if you won own of these kinds of tubs. You'll save the money back on the ice requirements alone. As a bonus, less debris will end up in your tub.

Ordered for my Icepod "Pro" tub that's idiotically black on the outside and doesn't even come with an insulated top cover (have to order separately). As a side note, do NOT buy The Pod company (aka Icepod) products, unless you like to waste $$. This cover is a bit large for the tub, but I intentionally picked XL (35" diameter) to account for hoses and (far) protruding valves. This cover kinda fits, but not well designed for routing hoses (one very small opening in the middle and a weird "notch" on the bottom). For a hefty $80 price they could really come up with much better/more versatile design to accommodate various configurations of valves and hoses- even if just several access flaps with Velcro closures- placed vertically on the side of the cover. Also give it the ability to fit snugly around the tub by eliminating the "slack"- multiple, evenly spaced out Velcro closures would do the trick (there's only one closure for a "fixed" diameter) Anyway, at least it's silver and seems to have some insulation, so you can make it work if your tub is black or otherwise not well- insulated. Doubt it'll last long tho- this type of "space" fabric gets degraded quickly by UV and the elements (wind)

I purchased this product hoping it would help keep the water in my ice bath cooler for longer. Two days ago, I filled the tub with fresh water at 10°C. Since then, the temperature has risen to 16°C—just as it did before, even without the cover. It’s important to note that the outside temperature during this period was not warm, so external heat wasn’t a factor. Unfortunately, the product does not perform as advertised. It does not maintain a consistently cold temperature, contrary to what the product description claims. I’m disappointed with the purchase and don’t believe it’s worth the money.

I’ve been using The Cold Pod Insulated Cover for my ice bath tub, and it’s been a big upgrade compared to the previous cover I had. This one is built to last. - Easy fit with a secure zipper: The full wrap-around zipper helps the cover stay in place and keeps everything sealed tight. - Reflective silver color: The silver material reflects the sun and prevents the cover from absorbing too much heat, which helps keep the water colder for longer. The only downside is that it’s a bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it for the quality and performance you get. It’s definitely much better than the cheap cover I had before!

This Heavy Duty Zippered Insulated Cold Pod Cover works excellent to Insulate your Cold Pod Bath to keep it from warming up under sunny conditions when you want a cold or ice bath. It also does amazing to store your Cold Pod Bath in to protect it from insects, dust, punctures etc. It's easy to slip it over your pod and zipper the top closed. Two thumbs up for sure!!
