worked well
I am a side sleeper so I rely on the pillow to reduce noise on the side where my ear is pressed it. So when I saw that these are side-sleeper compatible, I had to try it.First, it works well as a ear plugs - worked as well as my disposable ones. So the next test is to use these while sleeping on my side. Apparently, there is one decorative part of the ear plug that I can just detach. I removed it and barely noticed any change in its noise cancelling capability. Its not as comfortable to sleep with them but its definitely bearable. I was able to sleep with them and wake up without any pain.Overall, this worked as advertised and I just have to get adjusted to having to wash my ear plugs every night :)

Good, especially for short-term use
I have been trialing multiple ear plugs ever since I discovered that when I want modest general noise reduction* (as opposed to "high-fidelity" noise reduction during music practice) I can successfully wear the large and occasionally the medium tips of a mushroom-shaped style that doesn't need to go deep into my small ear canals. I have been surprised that plugs, all made in China, which look similar on Amazon product pages have been as different as they have been.I was intrigued because the Ezavan Ear Plugs for Noise Reduction claimed up to 40 dB noise reduction, which is higher than most similar plugs. I tested them using the CDC's "hearing protection quick test" page (do an internet search to find it) and they provide at least 15dB of protection. The plugs were fairly easy to fit and when tightly sealed, they did seem to provide a somewhat more noise reduction than the many others I have tested. However, the degree of protection fell after awhile because they drifted out of position even though I was sitting still working on my computer. OTOH, they were pretty easy to readjust and they still provided about 15 dB of noise reduction even when not quite in place. The protection lasted for at least five hours, including during sleep. They were very comfortable for the first 2-3 hours, but my temporal-mandibular joints began to ache after that, something I've never experienced with this style of plugs, and I had to give myself a break at about five hours.I'd give these plugs 4 stars for short term use and 3.5 stars for longer term use, deducting a half star for the drifting and the aching.Although these plugs are pretty good, because they come in a set of only one (so if you lose one, you have no backup), I would figure on the price of two pairs when comparison shopping.*Folks! 40 dB = the loudness of **a refrigerator hum** and CDC says if you achieve a 15dB reduction with an average consumer earplug, it's fitted properly. You're wasting your $$ if you hope that these and most other consumer earplugs will block "all" sound.

Comfortable Noise Cancelling Ear Plugs
Being nuerodivergent I found noise can be over whelming at times so I was looking for something I could keep in my bag to cut sound with out completely deadening it. I like the fact these shipped in their own reusable case and include 3 sizes of plugs. At first these didn't work until I realized they are ear specific and the plastic arms can be tucked inside the edge of your ear lobe to secure the the ear plug. I found them comfortable and while they cut overall sound down, I can still hear my kids talking to me if they are in the same room. I think when used at, say a concert, these may help reduce my anxiety of the noise enough that attending may not be so overwhelming. Overall, this is a well may manufactured product that does what I need it to. At the present price of $14.99, this seems with in fair market value and not a big cost for anxiety reduction.

Not very soundproof
Tried it and doesn't block out much sound. Even those disposable ones are much better than this. No point in using this.

They’re pretty good
These are nice little earplugs. Not sure that’d I’d use them instead of eargasm, but they are comfortable and do help with noise

So-so
Not any more effective than regular earplugs

Comfortable, has size options, good sound dampening
These are pretty nice. I like that you change change the tip size to fit your ear. The shape of the back is perfect for my ear. It's held in place and isn't uncomfortable. It does block out a lot of sound. My only negative is that I think the price is high for one pair of ear plugs.
