Downscales to lowest supported resolution and hz
I couldn't get it to work. I have an xbox series x running at 4k 120hz. My tv runs at 4k 120hz. i have a Philip Hue Sync box that only runs at 4k 60hz or 1080p at 120hz. if i connect the output to my hue, my xbox gets limited to 4k 60hz. the splitter is downscaling to the lowest supported resolution... because of this, i had to return the device sadly.... ... ... UPDATE: I'm updating my review to 5stars. Customer service reached out to me, which I did not expect. They were helpful, and the product itself works well as intended, a simple switch that duplicates/mirror the output at the lowest resolution of whatever your device is able to output. For me, since I had a lower end device, all my highend device also went down. This is understandable. I'm just blown away by the customer service. Since it was at my own fault for not understanding how the device works, I can't downstar for my lack of understanding or oversight.

Did not work with an Amazon Firestick
The use case of a firestick going to a 1080p monitor should be entirely within this thing's wheelhouse, but it does not show a picture, even after returning for a replacement. Seemed to be a little dodgy as to whether it recognized input/output being plugged in, there are indicator lights which did not consistently light up - but it didn't work even when both were lit up.

Seems to work well
No problems yet. Just plugged it in and started to use it.

Pretty Decent... in the end I got it work quite well
Let's do the bad first - the "manual" is filled with typos - "ON" is listed in the entire matrix as "NO"? How does that happen? It has no power supply, only a USB connector, so you need a UBS power source. Out of the box it did not work even though according to the functionality matrix it should have. Eventually, I got it working just by trying a bunch of dip switch positions. But in the end, it works quite well with a Sony 4K and an LG 4K at 60hz. It actually works better than dual out of my other Marantz which would pause for long periods when one of the two displays was off and turned on. When the LG is off and I turn it on, with this device the video connects instantly. Like I said though, out of the box the video was odd - shifted down and zoomed in

Does not support VRR 4K 120hz HDR output from Nvidia GPU to LG C3 OLED TVs
Basically, the title says it all. The product claims VRR support, but if you're trying to split the output from a PC this would only be possible if the EDID tells the PC that VRR is possible. This product does not. I tried TV Copy mode, and all of the listed 4k 120 compatible modes. None of them allowed VRR to be enabled on the PC. This defeats the purpose of my use case, which was to have the same signal sent to two different LG C3 OLEDs, one 48" on my desk, and one 77" on the wall, so that I can play games on either one without using to unplug and plug in hdmi cables all the time. There was also weird behavior with the audio output. Both TVs have their own soundbar, but if I muted the soundbar on the 48", the 77" would also display the floating mute symbol on the screen even though the 77's soundbar was not muted and playing sound just fine. There's a small possibility that because my second output (the 77") was via a one-way optical hdmi cable, that this could have interfered with recognition of VRR support. But this seems unlikely because I use VRR with the cable when used on its own. I still gave it 2 stars since it does work well for HDR 4k 120hz if you don't need VRR.

Don't buy this product if you want to support 4K output from Apple TV.
I tried to use it to split 4K signals to feed into two of my 4K TVs from Apple TV. it would only support 1080P. I don't think it's the fault of this device, as HDMI is a two-way communication standard, the TV actually sends back information on the resolution it supports (EDID), and if you have two 4K TVs, even though it supports the same resolution it could be sending back conflicting information to Apple TV. Too bad I can't find a competitor product that supports it either. If anyone has any luck with splitting their 4K Dolby Vision Apple TV signal please let me know. (Both of my TVs support 4K Dolby Vision and it's tested without the splitter to work with the Apple TV.)

First it interfered with the remote signal so I got that sorted out, now I have no sound from Amazon prime videos, a lot of money to pack up so quickly !! Does not look like I can return it as a faulty product!

Marking material is gobshizzle If you need it for what it actually does it's probably OK. Good luck trying to figure out if it actually meets your needs from the "dial it in from my deathbed" product description
