Works fine. Easy to install. I can't say if the filtration efficiency is better or worse vs other competing filters, but since I change the engine oil frequently, I'm not worried about it.

What is there to say? It is an OEM Subaru oil filter. The price is reasonable, it comes with a crush washer for the oil drain plug. I'm a satisfied customer.

The two filters and the two washers look exactly like the ones I have always purchased at the Subaru dealership. The filters were marked with the same item number, and the washers came in a small separate plastic pouch and were marked with the item number as stated in the Amazon description. All the labeling and markings seem legitimate to be OEM items. I was surprised that they were shipped in a padded plastic envelope instead of a box, but they were wrapped in plastic and seem to be undamaged. I took a series of photos to include with my review, but I was unable to upload them -- apparently Amazon does not accept photos taken by current Iphones ("HEIC" files). If I figure out how to convert them I will upload them someday.

I am a DIYer with a 15’ Subaru Forester. This helps a lot when you’re a frequent oil changer due to daily driving and weekly long trips to various parks, lakes and beaches. Everything is plug and play. 167k miles on the clock and these have been the best filters and washers to go with it so far. I use 5.1 quarts of valvoline 0w-20 high mileage and it makes my engine very happy along with this filter.

Good value with washers. The washer will cost 1.67 at the dealer.
