The media could not be loaded.  At first the video would invert and I would have to power down and restart to correct. Now the video freezes or is smeared and blurry, sometimes it looks like stop-action. I made a post about this and the company did contact me but only the one time. It has no manual to explain buttons or how to use either. It is out of support time and return time. I do not recommend, I drive Uber and need something more dependable. I will be buying from another manufacturer and supplier.

I have three other dashcams but wanted to move from the hanging suction cup mount to a more tucked away solution. This looked like a good economical solution but it turned into a lesson relearned. I should have paid more attention to how many recent reviewers required customer service, whether it was "excellent" or not. The included documentation is sparse at best, leaving the user to figure out how the undocumented features work - if they do. Contacting the vendor for assistance when something didn't work as expected only resulted in the same information included in the already received "manual". Questions they apparently couldn't answer were simply ignored. The Amazon Q&A proved more useful than the one on one vendor attempt. After a few unsuccessful "help" exchanges it was suggested I return the one I had for another one. I'm not sure how that fixes poor documentation and the lack of informed help. I'm willing to accept some inconvenience for a low price but if I can't get it to work correctly and can't get the help needed to make it work, I think the message is to try something else, not to try the same thing over again.

Setup was a pain in the a**. The instructions that came with this camera were lacking any useful information. After playing around with it for an hour or so, I finally figured out the sequence of buttons to use to get to the menu. The camera itself seems to take pretty good quality video/photos. I like how the camera is "flush mounted" to my windshield. The power cable was very lengthy; HOWEVER, the micro usb port feels awkward and "backwards" and is installed in a way that the cable is forced to go down then up into the roof of the car vs just going straight up into the roof. As a result, it looks weird.

This is my first purchase of a DashCam and I found the installation very easy. You will require a MicroSD card to save your recordings. Connecting your phone to the Access Point to Camera provides was simple, just open Wifi icon on the camera and look for it on your list on your phone, type 12345678 as the password and you instantly connect. It'll show you the cameras display on your phone with some controls like record etc.. You can also download the clips to your phone which is nice. I found some of the clips to be quite big in size so make sure you have enough space on your phone before downloading. Or you can simply remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into your PC for easy access.

Very impressed with this little camera it can easily be hidden away on the windscreen with a direct mount no need for suction cups that can fall off ect even comes with an extra mount adapter. due to size i have mine fitted at the top of the windscreen out of view hidden behind my mirror The wires are neatly tucked away in the headlining and down the door rubber seal with the provided tool so nothing on show from the outside.The quality of the recording is very good colours are real and not washed out like some, road signs and number plates are easily read and the 170 degree lens gives a wide vision of your journey.Night recordings are equally impressive seeing as there is no visible extra illumination so no dazzling drivers with a bright white light present this must be down to the Sony sensor installed .The wifi connection is good when it finds it ,it is not 100% straight away Overall a very good buy and hope i have many years of use.

Best advise is to not change any settings until used a few days. once you get past the tiniest print instructions that are very vague you can, for only $29.95 have a dash cam that does a great job. It's size will hide behind a review mirror perfectly. make sure you get a micro card and while it states up to 32gb the owner has stated 128 would work. since it loops I bought a 32. Took about 15 minutes to install the power cord using the enclosed plastic tool in each car.

Ok so I’ve been driving around with this camera for a while now and love it!! Definitely will come in handy in case of an accident. Had a close call just recently so I decided to take the card out and watch what happened on my MacBook and man was the picture really clear and you could really see where the other driver almost hits me. Luckily I had the dash cam recording just in case

I don't know how most people are giving this 5 stars i tried everything and every time the weather is 75 degrees or higher the screen goes white as you can see in the picture. Maybe mine is defective but I'm definitely not happy with this dash cam. I would not recommend this dash cam to anyone.
