My back was hurting from sitting in the baby’s rocking chair to nurse her and this pillow really helped

With several ages/sizes/back issue (or not) in our house,it has become quite the task of providing a unified review.Although this was to serve as my 'sit watching tv on couchwhile rest of house sleeps' support pillow, seems like everyother member of the family had to 'give it a test run'. AndI didn't want to only rely on MY review (it's only 3-starred).So I'll just mention the reactions: "pushes me off the couch""oooh, this is like your chair" (fancy ergodynamic desk chair)"eeh" , "I don't know, might try it again tonight, then I'll waita couple nights & try again to compare" , "can I have this?".Not sure how to 'tally' that, but should include in all fairness;it IS as soft/supportive/cooling/layered as appearing in theirpics...just have to study it's shape/dimensions to align for YOU.(interested in update, check back in a week after I switch couple times)

Finally something that helps my back in my old lift chair.

This support pillow is larger than I thought it would be. It does provide good firm support when sitting upright on a couch or in an office chair. It molds perfectly to my back and provides good, even support when sitting against it. My couches have a tendency to lean farther back, but this lumbar pillow provides enough firm, forward support to keep you sitting more forward and comfortable so you feel like you are not straining to sit and reach forward. This is perfect to place on a wider couch where the cushions are more positioned back where you sometimes struggle trying to sit more forward or upright on the bottom cushion. However. I did not find it particularly comfortable when used to sit against or lay back more flat in my recliner. It made me sit too far forward in my recliner and It did not conform to my back or cradle my neck when I went into a more laid back position. It was cumbersome and was pushing me too far forward and was not comfortably supporting my neck. But that is OK because I do not need the support when reclining but when sitting up. When sitting against it on my sofa or in my office chair, I feel a great level of support and comfort on my back. I have had 2 surgeries on my back, and if I do not have the right kind of support to lean against, my back can get very tired and become uncomfortable after awhile. This lumbar support helps so much. It provides the perfect amount of support and keeps my back from feeling tense and fatigued. It is made well, has the perfect firmness to sit against and my back molds against it perfectly to make it feel supported and comfortable all day without being too stiff or hard. I noticed after sitting against it for awhile, it made my back feel really supported comfortable and it did not feel strained or become fatigued. It molded right against my lower lumbar area and provided firm yet gentle support all day. I found the fabrics to be well made and comfortable to sit against. I like to also sit on my couch at times and use my laptop and this lumbar cushion kept me sitting in the best ergonomic position, keeping me sitting forward enough to be comfortable without having to strain to keep reaching forward to use the keys. This lumbar support is well made, durable and is covered with nice strong fabric that should provide many good years of use.

This pillow has a decent medium firm support, and comes with its own cover, but this cover is a bit scratchy and uncomfortable, so I would recommend you cover it with something else, like a pillow cover, or a thin blanket. It should have came with a plush, or velvety cover, not this fabric, which is more like a thin jean type of material, or the fabric of a really cheap couch, that's more rough. I really don't understand this decision, as many people like to sit down without a shirt, especially nowadays with summer coming soon.For the foam, I would rate it four out of five stars - the support is firm enough, without being hard. This support pillow works best for backrests that are low enough for both of your feet to be set on the floor. For example, dining chairs, gaming/office chairs, and car seats. Couches and sofas would work, if you can set both of your feet on the floor comfortably. So what I mean is, if you want to use this to sit up on your bed, that might not be the ideal scenario.Overall, it's a perfectly decent support pillow that would have been excellent with the right cover.

Works well, great for upright chairs, no complaints so far

We won't have to buy a new recliner for likely some time yet, due to this! It gives him the exact comfort and support he was looking for that his recliner was lacking and now he can leave all my good pillows alone haha! It's easy to use, you unfold it and it shapes up perfectly!We love this simple pillow and recommend it as well!

I’ve got 2 older recliners but it’s just not in the budget to replace.This pillow is a comfort game changer! I have the lumbar support higher when reclined and flip it lower when sitting.Fits nicely, supportive with a nice amount of cushion. Little pricey but definitely extends the life of these chairs.
