Plain and simple- I'm a women who suffers from UTI's after sex. VERY frustrating as you can imagine. Puts a slight damper on your sex life! I'm sure many can relate. I did everything! Cranberry juice didn't do anything for me. I always ended up at the doctors getting an antibiotic, and then felt horrible knowing it was killing the good stuff as well as the bad. I pretty much thought- makes sense and since it's a type of sugar-what the hell I'll give it a try-can't hurt! So I bought the powder. I filled a glass of water and used a good 3 TBSP or more of the powder. Then drank more water all day (I keep a big glass on hand all day) and kept adding more of the powder. In two days I used it all. The something happened. All of a sudden my urine started to clear. I could pee easier and the flow got better. I couldn't believe it. Then I felt back to normal! I wanted to keep it going so I went back to get more to maintain. They were out of the powder so I got the capsules with cranberry in it as well. I am taking two in the AM and two at night and drinking LOTS of water to flush out the bacteria. The doctor said there are different causes of UTI and this stuff works with the kind that causes bacteria to attach to the urinary tract. The sugar causes it to not be able to stick to the walls and instead gets flushed out. So here I am today ordering two more types of the powder- I got this and another kind. I want to keep this available at all times. I will now take about a tablespoon before bed and of course a good dose in the AM if I've had sex the night before. I feel for all the women suffering from this nightmare of UTI's. I hope others find this helps them find relief and get off the never ending need to take antibiotics. Give it a try- it CAN'T hurt!! This is an update to my initial review. I found another vendor who sells for less (LuckyVitamin.com) and purchased this same product. The consistency was more granulated than powdery so I contacted the manufacturer (KAL) as the vendor was not aware of any formula changes. KAL advised me that they are using a different supplier and confirmed that the granulated texture is normal. The bottle was also only half full, since it goes by weight and the granulated "formula" is heavier. However, the recommended dosage indicated on the bottle remains the same, It would seem that since the bottle is only half full, the dosage should also be cut in half. After running this by my vet, however, he said I should use the same amount as the old formula.This is the same product I've purchased from Vitamin Cottage, but at a slightly lesser price with the convenience of home delivery. At my vet's recommendation, I use this for one of my dogs as a daily maintenance due to her two UTIs earlier this year. So far, so good and am keeping my fingers crossed she stays clean.

This is the best cure you will ever find for e-coli induced bladder infections. It works like velcro, attaching to the bacteria and pulling them safely out of your body without antibiotics or the ensuing nightmare of killing off your good gut bacteria. Just take a teaspoon in water 3-5 times a day if you are in a crisis. Or many people take a teaspoon before sex to help stave off a new infection if that has been a trigger for you. I suffered for so long taking antibiotics from the traditional doc, and I was really desperate so I had to seek out alternate solutions. Also, if you have recurrent bladder infections, you may want to permanently increase your water intake, lower your sugar intake overall, rinse off before sex so there is no e-coli present that can be inadvertently swept into your urethra, and take D-mannose every day for a while until you break the cycle. Finally, if your immune system is compromised you can support it with some zinc glycinate and some beta-carotene to help it rally. Also sleep more and avoid alcohol which is considered a super sugar. I don't suffer anymore, and that feels like a miracle compared to the hell of constant bladder infections.

Product inferior. Powder in huge chucks!They will not take it back so guess what I loose and will have to throw away! Also made in China says on bottom should disclose!!!!!! Good company — this item I received not fair I have to pay for bad products

I'm not a doctor, so let me first say that anyone who thinks they have a kidney infection should wisely see a trusted medical caregiver. With that said, let me also say that after a lifetime of (many!) kidney infections (resulting in chronic kidney disease) I sure know a kidney infection when I have one. Ha! I am allergic to a good handful of antibiotics and very sensitive to others. So, with the help of my MDs and NDs, I have successfully treated a couple of stubborn kidney infections with Cranberry Forte  Integrative Therapeutics Forte, Cranberry, 60 Capsules ; however, my digestive system isn't very happy with it.
