Q: Is this evergreen. Will this stay green in winter?

I do not know where you live, but mine stayed green and redish all year.

Yes, just be aware that these plants grow in spurts and stick to everything in sight. Once the plant has been in the ground for the summer, they will go dormant in winter, but come back in spring.

Q: Will 1 plant eventually cover a 16-foot long wall?

Sorry, I misread your question..I think you would need about eight plants to cover a 16 ft wall. About one every couple feet. The plants I bought are growing nicely but I would say they would not cover more than a 1-2 foot length of wall.

Q: Will this Ivy grow on a wire fence?

Yes. I live in Boston and I have used it to cover wire fences successfully.Just make sure the main stem is kept on one side of the fence. As it grows, the vine could become thicker than the wiring space and choke the plant.
