Product Description Barker Bakes Flowerpaste – used to make Barker Bakes sugar flowers since 2005. It can also be used to make a wide range of sugar models/items to decorate and finish cakes. The sugar items can be made in advance and stored till use or made fresh, but please note that some items require time to harden to set and hold their shape (e.g. large sugar shoe will normally require at least a week to set sufficiently and may be longer in humid or damp conditions.) BarkerBakes make sugar flowers approx 1 month prior to use and small or other items about 1 week earlier. Items that are required to be soft for eating are generally made within the week that they are required and normally made by adding sugarpaste to the flowerpaste.Colours available: White range - White or Natural White (same thing);Super White; Ivory; Cream; Yellow range - Lemon Yellow; Yellow; Lime Yellow; Green Range - Light Green; Moss Green; Green; Grass Green;Jade; Pink Range - Bone/Flesh; Pink Blush; Peach; Pink;Baby Pink; Shocking Pink; Fuschia Pink; Dusky Pink; Red Range - Red;Scarlet; Ruby Red; Burgundy; Purple Range - Lilac; Purple; Deep Purple; Blue Range – Eucalyptus Blue; Baby Blue; Sky Blue; Turquoise; Teal; Royal Blue; Navy Blue; Brown Range - Light Brown/Tan; Brown; Others – Orange; Silver/Grey;Gold;Amber Gold;Black. It comes in 2 versions Regular and Gel Free (the latter was developed for customers whose dietary requirements necessitated that). Regular is recommended for superior taste and handling properties.  To adjust the paste for your requirements: if you find the paste is too firm, either warm it gently in the microwave, or add extra egg white (fresh), just a tiny amount. If you find the paste too slack, add icing sugar, again only a small amount at a time. Please follow usage and storage instructions supplied. It is recommended it is used within six months or bb date (whichever is first), or it can be frozen (in its pack) and defrosted for use in the longer term. Ingredients Icing sugar (80%), egg white, water, non hydrogenated vegetable fat, gelatine (from pork), glucose, Emulsifier: gum tragacanth (E413) xanthum gum (E415) Polysorbate 80 (E433) colours (E422 Glycerol, E1520 Propylene glycol, E551 Silicone dioxide, E124 Ponceau 4R, E129 Allura Red AC, E102 Tartrazine, E122 Carmoisine) Preservative: Potassium Sorbate P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Directions Warm prior to use (microwave for 2-10 seconds depending on conditions and size of paste) and knead or mix well, condition with sugar glue and white fat, if needed. It is ready to use when it is easy to manipulate. After using or opening pack, roll into smooth ball and smear white fat over exposed surface, double wrap tightly with clingfilm, place in sealed food container and store in fridge.
