These little life sized (Loggerhead) turtle hatchlings have just entered the ocean, having survived the perilous journey across the beach. No wonder they look so happy! This is a newly created piece in 2015. It is one step forward from Tipsy Turtle - where the hatchling is just climbing out of the shell. These hatchlings are about 4 and a half inches long and, including the polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 3 inches tall. They are hand molded in a durable polyurethane resin and hand painted here in the Studio. NOTE: these photos are for illustration only. Each burl base is a unique piece of nature's art so the one you will receive will be different but of equal size and comparable beauty. It is SIGNED and comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. We usually ship very quickly, sometimes even the same day if the order comes in early, otherwise it is nearly always the next day, the exceptions being Mondays when, because of the number of orders coming in from the weekend, some orders may not get shipped until Tuesday.
