Reception goes down, but looks good!
I don't use the local radio much in the car, so having an antenna is not as important for me. I wanted to have a shorter antenna for looks, and this worked perfectly! Intstallation was quick and easy, simply threads right on. I did test the radio and noticed the signal quality had degraded, so I would take that into consideration before getting a shorter one. I still consider it a decent value!
