Large pot. Great for steaming veggies

This product worked great. I chose it originally due to its dimensions as I store the pot in my oven. It fits nicely on the top rack. One comment: when preparing to use the basket it helps to run water over it first as well as filling the bottom pan. I found that food will stick once the basket gets hot unless the water was added first. Otherwise, it is a very effective steamer pot. Cleans up easily. Holds a large quantity of frozen or fresh vegetables and quickly steams them thoroughly. I would recommend it to others.

I choose this design because it separates the boiling water from the fish fillets in the tray by several inches, allowing a more gentle steaming action. While not a heavy duty unit, it works with my induction burner and the lid seals well. I use a 10 inch silicone mesh mat as well to diffuse the steam.

If there was a zero I would rank it that way. Purchased two of these units with great expectations for our serving needs. Both units arrived dented in several places - significant enough that the units look very unprofessional. ALSO, standard size hotel and serving pans do NOT fit in this unit. It does not mention needing other pans nor are they available for purchase.

Add enough water to at least half and cover with the lids. It gets very hot, like it should. I love the steam table, because it came with the trays and the trays have a nice handle to lift the trays. The lids also came with it. I'm adding to my review. I haven't used it since I got it because I can't find any trays to fit. What trays are you suppose to use? The trays that came with it is to hold the water. I need trays with food in them to fit the steam table trays. I'm confused how I'm suppose to use it.

The description says stainless steel, it feels more like aluminum. This will work for now until I find something a little heavier.

Got the right size, not so heavy. Serves its purpose.

It is lightweight but sufficient. Heats up very quickly. Large area to steam lots of vegetables and potatoes under, great for dinners. Overall, very pleased

Very good steamer set. You can boil in the bottom while steaming food at the top, such as fish, chicken etc and veggies.
