Cascadian Farm Oats & Honey Granola, 17-Ounce Box (Pack of 5)

It has a good taste overall. There seems to be a bit too much filler/rice in the mix. It takes away from the granola felling and taste that you might expect.Its not a bad product and the organic aspect is great. Its just not regular granola.

Cascadian Farms Oats & Honey Granola is by far my favortite cereal. The taste of this granola exceeds that of any other brand that I have tried over the years.In additon to the exceptional flavor, I choose this product because the fat conetnt of the granola tends to be lower than most other brands.I was pleased to find that Amazon offered this product through "Subscribe and Save", making this product available to me cheaper than I have found at any of my local grocery stores.

I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by this granola cereal. The taste is fantastic, with just enough sweetness to know there is some sugar in there, but plenty of earthy flavor to offset thoughts of unhealthiness. Sure, it's not fat free, but if it were most people would be disgusted. This would be perfect with a variety of dried/fresh fruits, or in some yogurt. The crunch was loud enough that I was asked to stop eating it while listening to an outdoor rock concert. And the serving size, even for an athlete like me who eats much more than the average person, was just right. I ate it at 6:30am this morning and I'm still pretty full over 2 hours later. The firs three ingredients are definitely prevalent in the taste. Ingredients: Whole grain oats, sugar, rice, sunflower oil, molasses, maltodextrin, honey, sea salt, malted barley extract, vanilla extract, vitamin ENutritionally, I'm pleased with the complex carb.-to-sugar ratio. As far as breakfasts go, it's definitely a better choice than a steak bagel from McD's (my mouth just watered), and at 230 calories it's perfect for those working in the 1500-2500 calorie per day range.Nutrition (per serving):Calories 230, Calories from Fat: 50Total Fat: 6g / 9%, Sat. I'll start off by saying that I'll only rate this 1 star since this is WAY too overpriced on Amazon. $8 per box is double the price of what you would find in-store. Buying five individual boxes at Super Target would only cost you $20.If I didn't take the price into consideration, I would rate this item 5 stars. The granola itself tastes great. I add this with blueberries to my yogurt every morning to stay full until lunch. If you have these with just milk, note that the taste may be a little sweet for some people's liking. In yogurt, you won't notice a thing.C'mon Amazon! Get with it and lower the price on this. The cinnamon and raisin 5-pack is $16.40. How is this so different?

I used to purchase this granola from my local grocery store. Then I moved. After trying over 20 granolas at the local natural foods store, nothing could compare. So now I get it from Amazon, 5 at a time.

This is some of the best tasting granola I have had. The texture is perfect too.

Not knowing what this cereal tasted like while ordering a 5 pack was a bit of a gamble; however going by the past reviews helped make the decision easier. I went in on S&S deal to make the deal more palatable (yes), and I don't regret the decision. If you are a fan of granola, you will live this. It has a hint of sweetness but not overpowering like others I have had. In addition, as one reveiwer said, the caloric content is a bit less than other silmilar granola cereals I have had. Overall a good purchase.
