This heating pad works perfectly for our hermit crabs. They are in a 20 gallon long tank and ever since we got the heating pad, they've loved having different areas to go to for different temperatures. It stays between about 78-82 degrees which is perfect.

Does what it's designed to do. No problems thus far.I did NOT stick these to the tank. Rather have them laying sticky side up. On the counter underneath the tank. There is air between the bottom of our glass tank and the heat pad.I use two heating pads on the warm side of a pythons tank. I have that side of the tank insulated with thermometer to monitor temperature. Temp between the bedding and glass bottem sits around 90°F. Ambient temperature sits around 82°F day time. Ambient house temperature sits low to mid 70s day time.

Doesn't give off much heat at all. Disappointed. Especially because I ordered two, but have only received one so far.EDIT: Their customer sevice rocks. Replaced the heat pads. Still not giving off much heat, as I would like. Raising my temps at about 2 degrees. I have one under my 10 gallon and one under my 20. But I'll keep these as a back up. Much appreciated.

Does not put out that much heat. Just wanted a warm spot for my beardie when he sleeps. The pad is Luke warm to the touch at best. Maybe got a defective one.

I have this on the side of a ten gallon tank with wire mesh lid to slightly increase the temperature. It keeps the tank at about 70-72 and my room is usually 64-66. Exactly what I wanted, but don’t expect to create a hot environment like a heat lamp will give you.

it's not super sticky. I had elevated the tank for air flow underneath, but the pad started unsticking with gravity. I felt it and it wasn't super hot so i just lowered it down onto the table surface. I don't believe anything will happen to the table. But it's a great heating pad.

This is the second pad I've purchased for the sides of my hermit crab tank (10 gallon). Part of me wishes it would heat up a little more, but it does its job as advertised! Hermie practically migrates to it in the winter.

Looked great but does not stick very well even after having cleaned the bottom of the tank before application per user instructions. I had secure the mat by placing gorilla tape to the corners.
