Lowrance Hook Reveal 9 inch Fishfinders with Preloaded C-MAP Options

Good fish finder. But C-map comes on bigger chip that doesn't fit fish finder. You have to convert it to the smaller chip. Kinda aggravating if u say it comes with it! Then should be plug and play!!

I recently purchased a hook reveal 9 and some additional Lowrance products to replace my outdated Lowrance X87. I have not had the opportunity to use the unit yet but had some questions so I called the Lowrance USA customer service phone number. I ended up taking with someone in the Philippines who was hard to understand and was obviously looking at a computer for an answer. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after waiting 5 minutes another person ( not in the USA ) came on who did the exact same thing as the other person. It’s sad that I can’t get support for a product I purchased in the USA from someone in the USA who I can understand who is knowledgeable on the product and not cookie cutter answers off of a computer.Hopefully I don’t have any problems once I use the unit if I do I’ll send it back and go back to my old unit.At this point I’d rate the unit a 5 but the support a 1.

Otherwise good. Had to buy extension cable $80. Ridiculous 🙄
