My wife found these sandals were very comfortable and liked wearing them except when she looked at them because she thought they looked frumpy and they had the appearance of what an old person would wear. I found that an odd comment but am not at liberty to divulge her age. She found that whenever the Velcro contacted any socks or nylon hosiery it damaged them, so they are perhaps best worn bare foot as you might expect them to be. She did find them light and easy to walk in and found the adjustable straps prevented them becoming a loose fit when worn. She liked that she found them well cushioned and supportive when walking.
