Great Prenatal
I just completed the entire bottle of prenatal so I feel ready to review them! (I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant) I have a very sensitive stomach and when taking these I didn’t have any issues with stomach upset, digestive changes or nausea. I’m not a huge fan of how expensive they are but most prenatal vitamins are expensive so I bit the bullet due to the clean ingredients. I got the citrus flavor and they taste/smell like lemon which I liked. If you take them WHEN you’re eating or directly after you can avoid the fishy burps, BUT if you take them too long after you ate the burps are vile. It’s a fishy- musty taste that is disgusting. The only thing that has me in limbo about purchasing again is the color change. I did not have anything super drastic like I see in the other reviews but they do darken over time. It says not to store them in direct sunlight, which I did not but over the month they did darken a bit. I’m pretty curious as to why that happens. Besides that I am very happy with these vitamins. UPDATING: so I’ve been taking these vitamins for quite some time. I am four months postpartum and I’m still taking them as I am nursing my son I tried the mint and it was not for me, but I stick with the citrus and I have to say I love it. My stomach is no longer as sensitive as it was when I was pregnant, so I haven’t had one fishy burp or issue since I was pregnant. However, I do always take the vitamins after eating. I can honestly say that I have much better energy during the day when I take them and I do feel like they keep me regular. It’s definitely a staple and now I have them on recurring orders monthly. If you’re thinking about it I say you should give it a try!

MY GO TO PRENATALS
If you’re looking for a prenatal vitamin that feels truly modern, transparent, and thoughtfully designed, **Ritual Prenatal** is in a league of its own. From the moment you open the bottle, you can tell this isn’t your typical chalky, hard-to-swallow supplement. The capsules are sleek, easy to take, and have a subtle lemon essence that actually makes them pleasant—yes, pleasant—to swallow. For anyone dealing with morning sickness, that detail alone is a game changer. What really sets Ritual Prenatal apart, though, is the science-backed formulation. Instead of cramming in dozens of questionable ingredients, Ritual focuses on the nutrients that truly matter during pregnancy—like methylated folate (instead of synthetic folic acid), choline for brain development, DHA for baby’s neural growth, and gentle, non-constipating iron. Every ingredient has a purpose, and you know exactly where it’s sourced from. That level of transparency builds serious trust. Another standout? The delayed-release capsule. It’s designed to dissolve in the small intestine instead of the stomach, which helps reduce nausea and that unpleasant vitamin aftertaste. For many expecting moms, that thoughtful design makes daily consistency much easier. Beyond the formula, the brand experience feels premium and intentional. The minimalist packaging, refill system, and commitment to traceability reflect a company that genuinely cares about both maternal health and sustainability. In short, Ritual Prenatal delivers on what matters most: * Clean, research-backed ingredients * Excellent tolerability * Transparent sourcing * Smart, pregnancy-specific nutrient support For anyone preparing for pregnancy, currently expecting, or in the postpartum phase, this is a prenatal that feels empowering—not overwhelming. It’s not just another vitamin; it’s a carefully crafted support system for one of the most important seasons of life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended.

Clean, well-designed prenatal vitamin that’s easy on the stomach
I’ve been taking Ritual Essential for Women Prenatal as part of my routine, and I really appreciate how thoughtfully this supplement is designed. What stood out to me first is the clean ingredient profile. It’s vegan, non-GMO, and free from common allergens, artificial colors, and sweeteners, which made me feel comfortable choosing it. The inclusion of key nutrients like folate, choline, and Omega-3 DHA feels well-balanced for before and during pregnancy. The delayed-release capsule is a big plus. It’s designed to dissolve later in the digestive process, and I found it to be gentle on my stomach, even when taken without a heavy meal. The capsules are smooth and easy to swallow. I also like Ritual’s traceability and third-party testing, which adds an extra layer of trust in the quality and sourcing of the ingredients. The light citrus scent included in the bottle makes taking it daily more pleasant. Overall, this is a high-quality prenatal multivitamin that focuses on transparency, simplicity, and ease of use. A great option for anyone looking for a clean and thoughtfully formulated prenatal supplement.

Great Vitamin for MTHFR Deficiency
I was told that with this pregnancy that I have the MTHFR and protein S deficiency and that I had to take a special kind of prenatal, which stunk because I had just purchased a bunch of high quality prenatals off amazon that I can’t use. I was told by my OB to look for a prenatal with methyltetrahydrafolate. This ended up being a difficult task. I could hardly find anything but did eventually find the ritual brand. I was impressed with the clear capsules with the liquid contents where you could see the ingredients. The pill size was also tolerable as I was taking a prenatal previously that was like a horse pill. I also liked the idea of the pill flavoring as supplements can taste awful. I bought the citrus flavor and it didn’t leave any sort of an aftertaste. One thing I wasn’t crazy about was the price as $43 is pretty steep for once a month. I ended up getting the subscription and saving 15% and then I bought a bunch of bottles during cyber week for about $23 to hold me over for the duration of my pregnancy. They also make a postnatal, which from my understanding with the MTHFR gene I will need to take this form of folate for the rest of my life. I don’t recognize if I have any changes as to energy but I am in my last trimester so everything for me is low energy and I’m always tired. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. This is great for pregnant women/new moms like me that can’t process folic acid normally and need this other form. ***UPDATE*** I just wanted to update that I am still on this prenatal. It’s been almost 6 months that I’ve been on it and I continue to like taking it. Two capsules a day at night and nothing ever comes back up with an after taste. There’s nothing negative to report. I still recommend this brand and have bottles of the post natal lined up to take after the baby is born. ****Final Update**** I had the baby and switched over to the postnatal. At the moment the postnatal only comes in a mint flavor as the citrus is unavailable. I can’t say it’s my favorite flavor for a pill but the taste is pretty brief. I suggest this as a post step after birth for any ladies that need a good, comprehensive postnatal, which I have heard we all need for ourselves and for the babies (if you’re breast feeding). Great but fish breath
Love the easy to take pill and mint flavor. I only give it a 4 star because the fish oil burps I get so I can only take these right before bed or I am nauseous all day with the fish breath

Fishy burps coming…
Everyone loves these and they’re promoted so much on social media but omg they gave me the worst fishy burps ever. It was disgusting. The actual pill/scent is ok but i tried taking them with food and it didn’t help. I took them before bed and I’d wake up in the night having the fish taste. I used them for 5 months before finally switching to something with less of a gross aftertaste

Clean ingredients and easy to tolerate, according to my wife’s experience
My wife has been taking Ritual Essential for Women for several weeks now, and overall her experience has been positive. One of the main reasons she chose this multivitamin was the clean and transparent ingredient list. She likes that it’s vegan, free from unnecessary fillers, and focused on key nutrients rather than an overwhelming list of vitamins. The capsules are easy for her to swallow and have a light citrus scent, which makes them more pleasant compared to traditional vitamins. Most importantly, she hasn’t experienced any stomach discomfort, even when taking them without food, which has been an issue for her with other supplements in the past. That said, this is not a supplement that provides immediate or dramatic results. It feels more like long-term nutritional support rather than something you notice right away. The price is higher than average, which may be a factor to consider. Overall, based on her experience, this is a solid option for anyone looking for a high-quality, gentle, and well-formulated daily multivitamin.

4/5
Good ingredients it seems like. I don’t love how it advertises as a prenatal but the bottle says to consult with your Dr before taking if you’re pregnant-which makes sense to cover their behinds legally. The taste is more burpy than other fish oils/omega 3s I’ve taken in the past but for the affordability and ease it does the job.
