As far as usefulness goes, this collar fails the test. Combined with a leash the collar fails to keep its place. After each walk the collar has to be refitted to its original tightness. As far as a novelty collar goes this one is ok. You don't see a Labradane every day with a Blackwatch collar. I guess it is unique but a bit pricey for practical use. My wife and I had purchased this exact collar from this seller for a dog we were adopting a year ago. Definitely a seller that understands dog lovers because they are themselves.Well one year later and a new dog, we are so happy to be able to finally purchase this collar from this seller for good. We have a Fox Terrier and this plaid collar looks great on her. She is white with black and grey spots. The Green and Blue color plaid really looks great on her. She likes it too. We just hold the collar out and she puts her nose and head through the collar to get her necklace back.

I like the plaid and the thickness. The clasp is really hard to get open That is good for a secure closure but hard to remove from dog.

Well made with strong stitching. Keeps its color after washing.

Holding up well - got this a few months ago and it still looks sharp :)
