Works, but Not for Summer Use
I have been using this Collagen Face Masks and have applied 5 out of the 8 quantities. From the first use, I immediately noticed a tightening effect on my face and also smaller pores. Im using this to help with hyperpigmentation on my upper cheeks. They did lighten up a bit with the mask. The more I used it, the brighter my skin seemed to become and my pores continue to stay small. However, this is so tricky to apply. Which is a common issue among other reviewers. The masks are very fragile and easily tear or fold. Additionally, the price point is quite high, but I was willing to make it work because of the results I was seeing. However, since it is summer and it's hard to stay away from the sun, I don't think it's a good idea to continue using these masks for now. Since as my dermatologist keeps reminding me, my hyperpigmentation is being caused by sun exposure. I may need to wait until early fall to buy several packages. Overall, aside from the cost and application difficulties, I can honestly say that this collagen face mask really works!

Unusual split mask gives good coverage
This is the most expensive mask I have ever used, and I feel like it is the best too. After use I could tell a difference in my skins appearance and condition. This was an unexpected split mask that allowed for better coverage on my face, but placement is very careful and patient work. Recommended.

Fit not great, weird residue left
I see that others had great experiences, so maybe it’s a skin type thing - but this did not work for me at all. The texture of the mask is smooth on one side and textured on the other side. Although I left it on long enough for it to “dry out” which should’ve meant all moisture left the mask and was on my face, I honestly didn’t see/feel a difference after using this mask. Also left a type of residue on my face, almost like a film. Just didn’t work for me.

Not bad!
I’m always interested in what skincare comes out of Korea, so this was something I was excited to try. The masks comes in a large foil pack and each one is individually in its own foil package. It comes in two separate pieces, a lower half with the mouth, and the upper half with nosepiece and eye holes. The texture is unique, like a rubbery gel-like material. It was very hard for me to apply to my face without breaking and tearing it. I have a large forehead so I used the extra cutout pieces from the eyes and mouth to extend and cover my forehead. The instructions in English are on the Amazon listing and states this should be applied with the textured side facing the skin. It is instantly cooling to the skin and feels moisturizing. This took much longer than 30 minutes to turn “clear”. My skin looked refreshed and brighter after use. I was pleasantly surprised.

Makes my face brighter and skin taut, pores diminished - with one application!
I can find all the information about this product on the packet. With that information in hand, I tried the product. One thing I wonder about– not quite sure why it says ‘whitening’ on the packet. Nowhere else is there mention of ‘whitening’.From previous experience with such masks, I opened the individual packet with the front of the packet facing upwards. I could not discern any fragrance. Its inner container slid out smoothly and I could easily apply the 2 sections of the mask onto my face. The 2 sections of the mask make it easier to adjust because all faces are not of the same shape and proportions. With 2 pieces, I could place the upper piece exactly so that my eyes were exposed, and the mask was flat against the top of my face and nose. Then I applied the lower half, keeping my lips exposed. It went on easily. I then gently flattened the mask so that no air bubbles remained. Of course, one has to be very gentle, else the mask will probably tear. It is very cooling and it remained so almost until I took it off. It did not slide off once I place it in position.I left it on for about 30 minutes. It had not dried completely so I kept it on for another 5 minutes. When I took off the mask, I was truly surprised because my face looked taut and brighter and the pores were visibly diminished. I did not expect such an immediate effect. The effect remains. I will continue to use this mask.I am delighted with the results. Yes, this is expensive at the current price, but it is effective for me. So, it is worth it.

Went straight to the trash
I have these and the MediAnswer VitaCollagen masks. As frustrated as I was with my experience using the MediAnswer masks, I would happily choose them over these masks any day. Firstly, these masks claim to be lightening. Not brightening, whitening. As in skin whitening? I don’t know, I don’t speak Korean and I know that kind of nonsense still flies in Asia. Either way, it gave me the ick but I was going to risk my melanin for you all and try it anyway. We’ll I tried to try it, anyway. These masks are so stinking fragile. I immediately poked a hole in the bottom part while removing it from the plastic backing, which made it impossible to lay the rest of the mask properly due to the difference in stretch. So then I got smart with the top portion and tried draping the top half on my face with the backing still on so I wouldn’t put any more tears or holes in the collagen. I don’t even know how it could’ve happened but it had a hole in it when I finally got it onto my face. Don’t even get me started on the position of the cut outs. I have no clue what your face would have to look like to get these holes to line up because they’re so close together, and if they do line up for you, you’re going to end up with collagen in your hairline. The size is just bad. Period. I thought I’d be smart (yes, again because I don’t learn my lessons) and cut the mask in the areas where there was too much tension and it wouldn’t adhere to my skin, and it just made the mask that much more difficult to position. And trying to position the part still stuck to my face (and only barely, because these masks are dry, dry, dry compared to my MediAnswers) while holding the part that I cut off just put more tears in the mask. It was all too much for me. This mask was on my face for maybe 3 minutes before I decided I couldn’t live like this. Skincare should be a peaceful and relaxing experience, but this sent my cortisol levels off the charts. I absolutely do not recommend these.
