Overall, I was happy with the price for this unit and the screen size is bigger. I have used dual-channel scope to compare two signals and the unit seems to work well. I haven't used the analysis features as yet. Key take away is bigger screen.

In a time not too long ago, a dual channel osciliscope, waveform generator and multimeter would be bulky and may or may not be portable. I'm impressed. For giggles, I verified the unit based on my known bench standards and came away pleased with the results. Yes, there were some minor variations here and there, but nothing to write home about. A good tool for the bench for sure! The feel of unit seems to be built well, but may have some issues in dusty or dirty environments, a downside of touchscreens. Not sure how the unit would survive being dropped on a hard floor, I need to be careful using it in the field. The manual for the unit is a bit lacking, however, with my background and playing with it for a few minutes filled in the blanks. The only downside for me was thickness of the unit, thinner would fit in the hand better. In conclusion, overall I think it is a good value for the money and hopefully I receive many years of service. Enjoy!

It's not as powerful as pico, but if your looking for a cheap basic oscilloscope to give a picture then this is what your searching for. Also has a voltmeter and signal generator. I've been using it at my dealership for random diagnostic and it's impressive. When I don't feel like digging out pico an fighting with setup of it. This is quick and simple to use. My knowledge of using oscilloscope is still entry level, using pico can be frustrating and time consuming. Time is money on flatrate repair. No money in diag if you cannot get it done quickly. Flat rate pay sucks on todays modern highly technical vehicles, cars have changed but we are still paid from a system old as WW2 but thats a different topic. When all you need to see, is there a signal present. This product will give you that and more. Great display, bright,touch screen, auto settings, even the multimeter is auto. Great tool to add into your arsenal of diagnostic equipment

I have not used all the features but I primarily purchased it for the O’scope and I’ve been pleased with its operation and functionality. I’m still learning it, but for the price and the size it fits my needs perfectly.

I'm an electronic hobbyist, and thought I was ready for an oscilloscope, but at an entry level. Youtubing and general readings brought me to this 2C53P. This may be sold as an automotive scope, but it appears to be great for general electronic projects.Right away I easily saw everything I wanted to in the oscilloscope mode, and now the 2C53P is being used as my favorite multimeter. I now have it optioned to boot to multimeter mode.Fun to play with the signal generator to learn the oscilloscope, but I haven't really used sig gen mode. (Glad to know it's there.)Great touch screen, sturdy, not too big, a good selection of probes and a very handy carry case.For me it was a good purchase and would recommend.

Don’t waste your money or time with this inaccurate device. The multimeter works well but the oscilloscope is a joke. The oscilloscope failed to lock onto signal most of the time, and when it did the reading was way off. Other reviews have mentioned to use the second probe port for more stable measurements but why should you need to do that on a two port scope? The scope is a nice concept but fails on many levels. I doubt a firmware update can fix the deficiencies in this device. Stay away.

the ground tester broke very easily I hope i can find replacements. also ,there is a slight lag before the unit beeps when testing continuity

Very handy instrument, the display is large and bright and the menu system is easy to navigate. It is light weight and rechargeable so no power cord to deal with. It comes with a case to store the instrument and its attachments which is good because there are a lot of attachments. The multimeter measurements are accurate as are the calculated values in the scope mode. Overall, very impressive instrument.
