Amazing HDD
The product came properly packaged with the disk protected inside some tube-like air bag made from a very resistant rubber material. This prevents the disk from suffering hard hits, which is essential for HDDs.This 10TB drive is amazing. I've seen read speeds of 280MB/s and write speeds up to 120MB/s, but sometimes it even feels faster for an HDD when writing some big files after the system being idle.Of course these speeds are far from nvme SSDs, but it's pretty good for an HDD, considering that the upgrade was made over a drive writing at a rate of 20MB/s.The speed will be a bit lower if you will be copying your entire OS or partition table from another drive because the process can be long and the drive cache will get filled after some time, slowly lowering the write speeds to 60-70MB/s. Even still, copying everything I had was a lot faster than if I was to do the same thing with older drives, which makes the process a lot less stressful. It's still too early to judge its reliability, but I'm sure I will have much more peace of mind knowing that my data is protected in an enterprise-grade drive.I've setup my system to boot from an nvme SSD for fast boots and to not have to stress the HDD everytime I want to turn the computer on, which would lower its lifespan. The drive will only be storing passive data and I hope it to have a long long life until I have to move the data to a larger disk or even with new technology.

This Works Great
I am increasing the capacity in my older NAS and this drive fit the need perfectly. It is among the largest it will recognize and is a good enterprise drive. It was delivered quickly and at a good price. The NAS is working with no problems at all.

Died fast
Died after a few hours of write time. It was making some pretty bad noises from first boot so at least I was expecting the failure.

Received the correct model with a fully-functional 5-year warranty
I am always skeptical of purchasing hard drives from marketplace sellers, as I have had many issues with receiving a slightly different model than the listing describes (for example, if the listing model number was a drive with self-encryption, I might receive the standard variant without self-encryption) and recieving hard drives that are OEM or otherwise non-warrentiable.To my delight, all of the drives I purchased here were of the correct model (ST10000NM0086), the "Standard" variant of the Seagate Exos x10 SATA 10TB, and all of the drives immediately validated when their serials were run through the Seagate website for registration. This seller offers great prices and a legitimate, correct, product. As for the disks themselves, these are some beastly hard drives, with a large 256MB write cache, an excellent advertised MTBF of 2.5 million hours, a 0.35% AFR (average failure rate) for 24/7 operation, a competitive maximum non-recoverable read errors rating of 1 sector per 10E15 bits read, reasonable power consumption requirements of 4.5W (for idle) to 8.4W (under max load), a 550TB/yr workload rate limit (which is multiples better than all consumer drives, and even some same-in-class drives), and of course, a wonderfully lengthy 5-year warranty from Seagate.Whether you plan to put this in a NAS, server environment, or even a workstation PC, this drive is a great choice, especially for those who require 24/7 operation and consistent writes.

Amazing Customer Support!
I bought this to setup a NAS for my in-laws. I had previously purchased this same drive for myself and had great results with it. I bought a similar setup for them and the drive that came did not work initially. BUT there was a great help guide and phone number to text in the shipping box. I contacted the help line and they had me run some tests. The drive came broken and once confirmed they sent me a new one immediately. Not only that but they were incredible with making sure everything was operational and that I was good to go. I am certainly going to buy from them again and I would recommend anyone that is looking for a home NAS use this drive and company.

For the times you need ALL the storage in one drive.
Had this drive for about 3 weeks so far and I am happy with it. It stores everything I have and could store copies of every computer's C drive in the house with room to spare. Written large batches of data to it in an enclosed case and it has yet to get hot. Writes up to 250 MB/s at the start of the drive down to ~100 MB/s near the slow end of the drive. If you're getting this to replace a 6TB or smaller drive be aware this is missing the center two screws that some cases use. I had to mount using only 2 of the 4 screws in my mini-ITX case in particular because of this. On a final note this drive is noisier than you may be used to so if you hear clunking instead of clicking, that's why.
