Sadly, these have broken within three weeks of placing them on the stove (and, since we have not been cooking regularly as we moved in, less than nightly cooking). They have pins that fall out at one hinge and, even considering replacing them together when that happens, some of the necessary plastic lips for closure have just broken off. That is with pretty gentle use. (We have not had them long enough to be just quickly releasing which sometimes happens with items if you are used to them.) Two are totally broken and that renders the safety aspect null.

I was glad to confirm that these fit my knobs, being nervous that they were too large. Generally, they are all I really need. One has already broken at the hinge so I taped it shut and use it for a back burner I don’t use often. Others are fine but every one of them fell apart during installation. The screw at the hinge simply fell out. Perhaps could have been designed to prevent it slipping from either end.Update Sept 2018: 2 knobs down already. The hinge is broken so there’s no way to salvage either of them. Too bad.

I had these for less than a week before having troubles. They were easy to put on and fit perfectly. But then, within a few days, I started to have issues with opening and closing them. The hinges kept sticking and they kept popping open to fall off. Last night, not only did one fall off, it had warped too. I do not consider myself to be a heavy cooker. I make dinner at night and usually eggs on the stove in the morning. I bought these because I have kids and a mother-in-law in a wheelchair who always hits the knobs when she is here. She hasn’t been here to knock them and the kids haven’t messed with them. I had ones that were the safety first brand that were wonderful and lasted about a year. They were no longer available and so I tried these... not so much! Not worth even half the price!!!

I had gotten these knob covers because I saw my new cat jumped on top of the stove and didn't realize he accidentally turned on the gas low and I didn't notice it until I smelled gas. My new cat was trying to look out the window by the stove. The knobs work preventing the stove knobs from being turned unless you open the cover. So I am satisfied. The knobs are clear so it doesn't interfere with my décor.

I have a oven that unfortunately has the knobs on the front at toddlers level. Once I seen my two year old turn a knob I instantly hoped on Facebook to find something that would work. Long story short I purchased these and all I had to do was snap these covers on my my oven knobs and closed the clear plastic section. As soon as all of them were on my son tried to turn the knobs and he couldn’t.

I've had them for a month now and couldn't be happier with them.They have held up so far and though we don't have kids, I do have a couple dogs who like to occasionally jump and having the covers work so well eases my mind that they won't turn the stove on while we are out.I also like that they have the little window so you can still see what setting your burner is on.I do recommend using some kind of tape though if you don't want them spinning around which can get a little annoying.

These are way better than the old ones back in the day. They work perfectly on my stove to keep it safe from my furbabies when they are in the kitchen with me waiting to be fed.

We ordered this set of stove knob covers, thrilled to find a set of 5, as a gift for our daughter who has a curious toddler. Unfortunately, they don't fit her Samsung stove so I may have to return them to Amazon. Meanwhile, our search will continue for a set that will fit and keep the baby from turning on the gas.
