This is a really good blender with a large capacity. The glass jug is quite heavy but it makes it sturdy and versatile. Unlike many blenders it is perfect for blending hot liquids, like soups. The venting lid allows hot gases to escape and it is easy to attach and detach the jug. The control is easy to use but does need to be turned around a way before blending starts. It is not too noisy either. The bottom of the jug is easy to dismantle to clean. Really pleased with my blender and would recommend.

Fantastic and easy to use blender. Great for teenagers to make super quick and healthy smoothies. Blends brilliantly. Great design for healthy drinks on the go.

Great blender for the price and does exactly what it is meant to If you are only making simple smoothies or protein shakes this blender is ideal at a fraction of the price of some of the bigger blender brands and models and it does exactly the same job... I've had 3 ninjas in the past and this does exactly the same for what I need so it's a no brainer It's simple and easy to use and extremely easy to clean

The glass jug is much heavier than our old plastic one and could be difficult for anybody with arthritis, and the base is pretty hefty too. That aside, it's pretty quiet and the results are just brilliant - velvety textured soups.

Fired this blender up and honestly thought it was about to take off. 800W feels less like a kitchen appliance and more like a small turbine — it turned my smoothie ingredients into liquid in about three seconds flat. Chucks ice around like it owes it money, blends fruit so smooth it’s basically juice with an ego, and the jug clicks in with that satisfying “I’m ready to cause chaos” sound. Easy to clean, powerful enough to scare other appliances, and makes you feel like a professional chef even when you’re just making a banana shake at 2am.

Works great, good value for money, speed size and easy to use

This was bought to replace a brilliant 'old faithful' kitchen blender that had lasted so long its dial had worn off. We initially had replaced it with a machine which had a plastic jug, which quickly became dull. Also, the interim blender's engine just wasn't that strong and it couldn't cope very well with anything that wasn't already quite soft. By comparison, this Philips model has a really strong motor and blends even hard foods completely, and you can put hot liquids into it, which is useful if you are making soups. It's black and silver design is also subtle which means it blends into the kitchen while still looking smart. The one thing I would say is that the glass jug is quite heavy compared to plastic ones, so if you have very weak wrists it might not work for you. Overall we are very pleased with this product.

Der Mixer wirkte solide, hatte aber leider nur einen englischen Netzanschluss, keinen deutschen, weshalb ich ihn wieder zurückgeben musste. Das steht leider nirgends in der Produktbeschreibung. Das ist aber nicht die Schuld vom Produkt, wird nur nicht klar kommuniziert, dass das Produkt aus England kommt
