Easy to install and great to use if you understand two things first before installation
Good product. It fits great on outlets cut into siding on the side of a house. No problem there. There are a couple of considerations. First, You most likely need to pop out the existing and installed hard, rigid plastic plate inside the box. If you have a square outlet (example: GFI) or a rounded side outlet-pick the right black plate supplied and put it inside the box. Instructions are meager. It says snap in place but it simply fits and will be loose until you fit the eyelets over the screw heats and put down. You do not need to remove any outlet mounting screws but you do need to loosen them out a bit to fit the cover over the round screw heads and then fit the inside black plate you are using to match the design of your outlet. Everything gets moved to one direction so the screws travel into a narrower channel of the eyelet. You will see. Tighten screws. Be sure you left the back foam cover on the box. Second, before you even do anything, use needle nose or flat nose pliers to remove the punch outs for your cords. It is MUCH harder to remove the punch outs when the box is installed. It is much easier to hold the box in your hand and wiggle and pry the punch outs out. If you follow the sparse installation instructions, there is no mention of the punch outs needed to come out. Obviously there are two outlets so remove both punch outs unless you think no, you will never use two outlets at once. If you do not remove the punch outs, you cannot close the plastic cover and thus you are defeating the purpose of the cover. Third, It is a little unpleasant to snap in the clear plastic cover hinges onto the cover's hinge rods. you have to come in at the 2 o'clock position forward and push. You will have two snaps and do not panic. That means the hinges are in. There may be a small potential to break the hinges. You do not need lots of pressure. Just a small amount of firmness. The good news is once you snap your cover on, you know the drill and any other installations come easy. Be sure to install the punch outs facing down. That means you have the box right-side up

Perfect Solution for Keeping Outlets Safe and Secure
I am absolutely delighted with this outlet cover! It's sleek, easy to install, and most importantly, provides peace of mind knowing that my outlets are safely covered. As a parent, safety is my top priority, and this product ticks all the boxes. The design is genius—it seamlessly blends into the wall, and the covers are sturdy yet easy enough for adults to open when needed. I no longer have to worry about my little ones sticking anything into the outlets, thanks to the secure closure mechanism.Installation was a breeze; it took just minutes to snap them into place over our existing outlets. Plus, they fit perfectly without sticking out or looking bulky. The neutral color even matches our décor, so they don't stand out at all.Overall, I highly recommend this outlet cover to anyone looking for a reliable way to childproof their home without sacrificing style. It's affordable, effective, and gives me the confidence that our home is safer for our little explorers.

Works as it's supposed to.
Fairly easy to install and setup, the ONLY reason I docked 1 star was because knocking out those tabs underneath to passthrough wires was NOT as easy as the instructions made it out to be. I ended up having to use side cutters to pinch the sides of that tab and then was able to move them down. Otherwise the box should work great :)

Great Replacement or new application
Know the mounting box type. There are some that have no box, some that have a half box, etc.I didn't know about the mount backs coming in different depthsSo, my error. I did find the kits that were sent were good quality, heavy duty and a good value. Won't hesitate to use this mfg again!

Easy to install, good product
These are great for waterproofing outdoor plugs. Very affordable and easy to install. I've bought two for the exterior of my house where I want to continuously run power cords, one for an exterior camera and one for an exterior motion light.

Keeps the plugs and outlets dry!
This is nice. Hard to create a brief description of "nice" here, but it does the job - and very well. A little hard for me to get all pieces in place, but that is probably more due to my own impatience when assembling and mounting it. The sharp eyed viewer may catch the lack of a GFCI outlets, but this is what I happened to have available. To use it, simply flip the lid up, plug in your cable and give it a little bend and close the lid. It locks with a couple of tabs, so no weather or critters can lift it.So much better than the old exposed outlets that only had metal flip-caps on them!NOTE: I cannot close the lid when I have a 12 AWG extension cord plugged in and another cable in the other outlet - then I have to leave the lid ajar. With a "thinner" cable, it all fits under the lid and I can close it.Yes, I would buy this again - but I don't have any more outdoor outlets to protect...

Easy to install, but not deep/large enough for my uses
These are easy to install. However, they aren't quite large enough to accommodate my power sprayer plugin. I have to take them off to be able to plug in my power sprayer, and as I move it around the house. I have to reinstall the one I'm done with and then uninstall the next one and repeat until I've finished washing the hose. They also aren't quite deep enough to accommodate the power bricks that came with my home security cameras. I had to buy smaller power bricks so that they'd even fit in the box with the plastic door part down. They also don't fit down as they're intended with my orange outdoor extension cord. They'll serve the purpose for irregular outdoor use, but if you have cameras and other things regularly plugged in, perhaps you should look for different ones.

Works great
I bought this to cover my GFCI on my deck. I wanted something relatively rainproof so the GFCI wouldn't trip every time it rains. Installation was a breeze and after a couple of rain storms it has worked perfectly.

Works well as intended!
I purchased this to run an electrical line outside to my gazebo for a ceiling fan and to have an echo dot connected to listen to music and it has not let me down. Quite easy to install! Good purchase!

A bit expensive, but good quality and easy install
I’m sure some hardware stores carry similar models at lower prices, but since I couldn’t find it near me, I bought it here. No problems installing then finishing it with some sealant around the box for good measure. Price was a bit too high, but the result was good.
