SanDisk SDCZ50 B35 8 GB Cruzer Blade USB 2.0 Flash Drive - Black

I’ve been using this SanDisk Cruzer Blade 8GB for a few years, and it’s been an excellent little flash drive. The design is slim, lightweight, and easy to carry around—it fits comfortably on a keychain or in a pocket without adding bulk. Performance is solid for a USB 2.0 device. File transfers are smooth and consistent, ideal for storing documents, presentations, music, or small media collections. While it won’t match the speed of newer USB 3.0 drives, it’s perfectly adequate for everyday use and quick backups. I also appreciate the reliability. SanDisk has always been a trustworthy brand for me, and this drive has not disappointed. It was recognized instantly by both my PC and laptop with no setup required. Overall, this is a dependable, affordable, and well-designed flash drive that does exactly what you expect. Perfect for school, work, or just having a backup of important files. Highly recommended.

I have used Sandisk Cruzer Flash Drives for years and I had no hesitation in ordering this great drive when my 4GB was proving inadequate. What did surprise me when I unpacked it was the size of the unit; it's half the size of my last Cruzer Drive (4GB). Having looked locally I was faced with paying twice to three times the cost of this drive for what to me were inferiour products. Although the drive comes with its own security software I used TrueCrypt(Open Source) to encrypt the whole drive; with AES & TwoFish encryption it meets my needs and provides some peace of mind if, horror of horrors, the drive should be lost. So far the drive has been used with XPHome and Vista and has been flawless in its operation, registering quickly on both systems and is both fast to read and write large files. Of plastic construction the drive feels, in everyday use, as robust as my other Cruzers and I look forward to many years of faithful service. Great product, great price, Amazon rocks...!

This is an excellant memory stick. It's small so don't lose it but you won't have trouble finding a place to put it as it won't take up much space. The thing I really like is that there is a back up facility that comes with each stick called the Vault where you can store your saved files on line, so if something happens to your memory stick you don't lose the saved files. The only fault I can find with it is that it has no cover so the USB connection is left unprotected. I bought a small food storage box to store my memory sticks in so that there's less likely hud of getting dirt in the USB end. I bought the 8GB so there's plenty of memory and for a really good price too which was the main thing that persuaded me to buy this one in the first place! I've found no problem with speed etc. I would certainly buy more if and when I need any more memory storage. It's an all round good stick!

Small storage for convenience

I was looking for a USB flash drive to use in my new TV. The problem is that when you search for USB flash drive in Amazon, there are literally hundreds and hundreds of items to look at. Why did I chose this one? Well, SanDisk is a brand I have used in the past and I have had no issues. It is a known brand. I wanted at least 8GB of memory, and when you compare this particular item in terms of features and cost, to be honest, this one stands up very well. Once it arrived, I had the drive in my TV within seconds, as it is a plug and play device. No issues at all. Works very well indeed. And it is so small... Highly recommended.

I can't understand why there are so many 1 star reviews, sounds as though folks are too impatient and heavyhanded and they break the USB stick quickly and refuse to accept it's their fault!!! I had no problems in exiting the USB utilising my ''Safely Remove Hardware'' PC tool, just pulling the stick straight out of your USB port without following the proper exiting procedure may do untold harm. I admit this item is very small, minute is probably a better word, not even the size of my little finger, so, be careful when applying/extracting the stick into your PC/laptop and also where you store the flash drive afterwards, as there is no function for you to attach a piece of string to it for safekeeping, etc. It does what it is supposed to do, I transferred a folder of 1.5GB data across in just over 2 minutes, so, no complaints there. My only concern was the included SecureAccess applicator that is recommended for you to install to allow you to store your data in your very own vault, I didn't bother with this feature and transferred my content directly from PC to stick quickly and efficiently, I wonder what lurks underneath the supposedly security function, if it works without it, then fine. The USB itself seems fine, but the delivery via DPD was terrible as usual. Sellers need to stop using DPD.

The device it self took 4 days to arrive, everything was packaged fine with no damage. I have generated some write speed statistics to give an idea of the performance of the device: Please note all files were copied to 'root' of the drive on Windows 7 using Windows built in file manager (Windows explorer). I never tried coping large files with SanDiskSecureAccess so cannot give any information regarding this subject. Also I have only had this device for 2 hours so my data may not be accurate over long term use or as the device ages. .mp4 (391MB) copy time of 1min 25sec (individual file) .flac (28.4MB) copy time of 3.7 sec (individual file) .iso (324MB) copy time of 1min 11sec (individual file) Album .flac (288MB) copy time of 1min 3sec (multiple files) For the price I do not believe there is a better alternative. I hope this helps choosing the best product for yourself.

Très bonne clef que tout le monde connait, j'en ai une autre qui a facilement 5 ans (même modèle). Elle n'a pas de problème de mémoire mais le plastique au niveau de la prise s'est cassée (sans affecter la connexion) Je recommande

Non sarà certamente una delle chiavette più veloci sul mercato, ma non le ho trovato nessun difetto. Acquistata per una cifra intorno ai 5 euro, funziona egregiamente per trasferire file. Molto pratico il buco che permette di attaccarle un cordino o un portachiavi (non inclusi). Funziona così bene che ormai non la uso più per trasferire file ma vi ho installato sopra Xubuntu, la versione completa, ed è diventata praticamente un "quasi-pc". Quasi perchè, avendola sempre con me, è molto pratica in caso di necessità: basta inserirla in un qualunque computer disponibile e avviarlo (tramite BIOS) dalla chiavetta e non dal disco fisso interno. In questo modo viene avviato Xubuntu presente sulla chiavetta, ed è come avere il proprio pc con se, con i programmi personali, dati del browser e tutto il resto sempre disponibili.
