GREAT
This is a great book. My children wanted me to read it again and again. They loved how the little sister went from disliking the snow to loving it. Easy to follow, fun, great illustrations - we will read this over and over.

Even if you are sick of snow you'll still want to purchase this book now.
With a very harsh winter season almost behind us this is not a subject I imagine that you want to read about or be reminded of. But this picture book is so much fun to read that I think you'll want to get a copy now and save it for your child or grandchild until next October or November. Have it ready for the first snow storm of the season and then pull it out and read it aloud with your child or grandchild. They'll love it and you might actually enjoy it too after a hot and humid simmer season !This book highlights the good and some of the not so good features of winter. Overall, though, the "good" outweigh the bad; at least that's what the two children featured in this book decide.Book provided by publisher.

Great take on the topic of winter
In rhyming text, a cold-loving brother and his snow-hating sister argue cheerfully about the pros and cons of winter. Will they be able to see eye-to-eye?The rhyme scheme works well overall, and the illustrations are cheerful, imaginative, and often humorous. This book would be especially fun to read aloud on the first very cold day of fall/winter or during the first snow fall. Would also work when discussing persuasive techniques in expository writing or seeing both sides of a tricky issue.
