These are great replacements!
I put these into my Bontrager solstice helmet, used some of the new sticky Velcro to make them more secure than the original pads were. A previous commenter said that they weren’t absorbent, that is false. When brand new in the helmet, they are just like a new sponge, they don’t soak up right away but after you use the helmet a couple times, these things are totally like sponges and absorb the sweat, and you can easily put pressure on the pads to squeeze out the moisture. These are considerably thicker than the stock pads that came with a helmet but I consider them much higher quality and certainly will last longer than the original thin pads did.

I'm surprised how much I like this!
It was time to change out the original padding in my Bontrager helmet. It got flat, stinky, and nasty. I couldn't find the right replacement at the bike store so decided to order this. It looked kinda cheap and I thought it would be uncomfortable, but I actually love it! It is very cushy and comfortable. I had to open my helmet a couple of notches because it's quite thick. It feels soft on my skin, and so far, hasn't gotten smushed down. I ride about 18 miles a day in a hot climate and found it to be comfortable, pretty absorbent, and I think it would provide excellent protection in case of a crash. It fit well and stays in place. I would recommend this product and will probably go ahead and buy another replacing to have on hand.

Saved my helmet from being discarded. Satisfied as it helped me save my Bonty Solstice .satisfied with 1st ride already today after it arrived today , Sept 11th 2018. Sticks well to Velcro and seller sent enough of them. I’d give 4.5 or 4.75 rating outa 5. Anything changes, I shall edit the review. Happy with it on Day 1.

Works well
Fits into my helmet very well. I think as I sweat the replacements will wear OK. I expect I will need to replace these about every 6 months riding 3 to 4 days a week in the California heat.

these are way thicker than the Trek Solstice pad.

Fit the helmet, but don’t absorb sweat.
They fit my solstice nicely and are comfortable, but not usable in warm weather. Not sweat absorbing. I had so much sweat running into my eyes and down my nose I could barely ride. These will go into the trash and I’ll find something else.
