East Creek Organics Rustic Roots Deodorant, USDA Organic with 5 natural ingredients, 3.25 oz

I wanted this to be a great product because they are making it out of wonderful ingredients. However, I do not sweat much and have to reapply 3-4 times a day. I could live with the short performance but the smell is off-putting. If your hiking it is appropriate but I simply can't wear this in an office or to a meeting without smelling like I made sweet love to a pine tree or am from the 60s. I didn't return because I support this product and hope they can dial in the formula 8/23/18

Won't be ordering again. When I traveled with it, I noticed that it melts with warm weather. I tried to tolerate the smell but it seriously smells like Tiger Balm and doesn't go away over time. What I really did not like about the scent is that it seems to get stronger as the weather got warmer. At least it did not cause a rash, broken skin or discoloration - hence the 3 stars.

I love the smell, but I like earthy, sage smells. I should probably add, I do not have a strong sense of smell and I can really smell it! I’m not sure I like the feel of it, to pastey for my liking, though I’m happy it doesn’t rip my skin off due to dryness. I switch it up with other deodorants for the feel alone...but the aroma brings me back.

I have tried many different nature deodorants, but this one:#1 Has a scent that I like, a unisex smell and seems to be a mild insect repellent - which as strange as it may seem is REALLY important to a hiker. Unscented deodorants don't do anything for body odor, and some of the other deodorants have flowery smells, which attracts insects. So this one works for me.#2 Has a sturdy container - this is also important, because things get smashed during travels. Please don't change this!#3 Long lasting - last much longer than other natural deodorants.Keep it up, guys! Love your product! Don't cheap out and change your ingredients!

I can’t complain about it’s body odor blocking ability, but it left some oil stains on my shirts in the pit area that have remained after washing. I didn’t mind the woodsy scent but I’m not sure I want to smell like it all day long, and it seemed to be continually activated whenever I got sweaty.

It is pretty effective. My issue is that it smells like BenGay or Tigerbalm and it is a pretty strong smell. If you don't mind that, then go for it.

This was my first foray into organic deodorant, and I'm sure that it will not be my last. I've found East Creek deodorant to be long-lasting -- both during long office days and intense spin workouts -- and keeps me feeling fresh during the day. The scent (rustic roots) is mild and earthy, suitable for both men and women. Would highly recommend for those looking for a safe and reliable natural deodorant!

Really wanted to like it but I got terrible reaction to it after just one use. Smell was very nice on the other hand
