This miswak is as good as you can expect. Some people complain that they smell bad, which is true but that's how they are. Meaning, these sticks come smelly. Keeping them in open air should remove the smell. But remember, if you keep them in open place, they will get dry. So, you will need to soak them in water occassionally. But the smell should never come back.

Smells terrible, tastes terrible and has a weird powdery substance. Threw it in the garbage!

To start off - we've never used these before, so we didn't know what to expect. They came well packaged, sealed with no air at all. The directions were fairly clear. Our problem was that the sticks smell terrible, we couldn't use them due to the smell. We tried listerine even, but it didn't cover the smell/taste enough to make it palatable. I'm not sure if the smell is normal, and being American I didn't know that? The smell/ taste is best described at chemical, even though they are chemical free.

It works great. However I would look for a wider (with diameter about 1cm) one.

These smell and taste horrible and I'm not sure if it's normal. Unfortunately,I don't think I will be able to even use them.

Followed directions, I’ve ordered miswak before this this brand fell apart so easy. I had lots of small pieces of threads in my mouth.

I wasn't able to get over the smell and the taste . will not buy again just not for me
