Convenient and High Quality Reusable Bags
My search for functional, high-quality reusable food storage bags ends here!I have long been looking for the right reusable storage bags to replace the plastic ones I was begrudgingly reliant upon. I struggled to find something that was sealable and leak-proof while also stain-resistant and dishwasher-safe. While I was initially deterred by the price of these Stasher Reusable Silicone Storage Bag, I found that I could no longer avert my eyes to my wasteful plastic usage. And so I bit the bullet and purchased this product. I can now confidently say it was money well spent. The quality of these bags is apparent, boasting a thick silicone material and an easily-sealable (and openable) opening. They seal tightly, proving to be a good option for freezing and long-term storage. Further, they are hassle-less to clean and can easily be placed in the microwave. They have become my go-to for storing opened produce, marinating protein, and for pre-proportioning smoothie ingredients, yet the possibilities are vast. I have even stored cookie dough in these reusable bags in the freezer for convenient, single-serving cookies on demand. I have quickly stocked my kitchen with the whole range of Stasher sizes. For minimizing plastic waste in the kitchen and creating a more streamlined way to prepare and store food, I cannot recommend this product enough.

Sustainable alternative and dishwasher safe
I noticed a couple of other reviews talking about how they came in plastic bags. I noticed upon receiving my stasher bags that they came in all different types of packaging. Paper, plastic, or none at all. My advice, you can obviously recycle the paper, and the plastic wrap you can recycle at your local grocery store, but hopefully it's not a deal breaker, because with these bags you'll never have to use zip locks again! I've been using stasher for a while now and these are my first larger sized bags. I've noticed they're not very fun to clean by hand, but in the dishwasher they do great and you can wash them on either the top or bottom rack. They can also be microwaved or put in the oven which is super convenient for me. I used up my zip lock bags before I switched to these and now I no longer have to feel guilty every time I stick yet another ziplock into recycling where I'm not even sure they'll be turned into a new bag. They don't get damaged easily, or at least not that I've noticed, and all around they're a great product, in my opinion. Each order comes with one bag. They're a bit pricey, but worth the price if you use these a lot, but, like others, I suggest you wait for sales to buy or buy them locally. My whole foods sells them, for example. They do come dusty, so give them a wash when they arrive before you use them, and when you wash them make sure you dry them thoroughly so moisture doesn't get trapped in them.

Stasher Brand Is The Best Brand
These are the absolute best and no other brand compares. I have all sizes and colors and love them. They keep produce fresh for days. The seal is like no other. I also use them to freeze food.

Reusable Silicone Storage Bags
Silicone bag works well for storing food. I've been using them for a few months now and they store the food well, are easy to clean and have a really tight seal. I recommend this brand to anyone looking to cut down on the number of plastic bags they are using.

Great quality; A bit of a pain to clean
Because these don't stay open nor stand-up on their own, I position them carefully in the dishwasher to ensure the inside is exposed to the water jets. Sometimes there's gunk that gets stuck in the grooves of the locking mechanism. This requires hand washing and maybe a little detail cleaning with a cotton swab. This happened recently when I used them to store raw, ground meat. To hold them open so that they can fully air dry, I cut an empty plastic, cottage cheese tub in half. I then use one half to hold the pouch open and set it upright for a day so that the interior can fully air dry. This eight-cup bag comfortably holds two pounds of ground meat and could probably hold three pounds.Going to get the Stashers "bowls" next in hopes they'll be easier to clean.

I’m obsessed!
I love my Stasher bags! I have a bunch of different sizes. The half gallon size works so well for freezing prepped food. I chop up bananas and other fruit for smoothies and freeze marinated meat in them. I like to lay them flat to freeze and then I can stack them or stand them up and have them in the freezer like a filing cabinet (this style doesn’t stand on its own it’s more of a lean but they do make some that do stand alone). There is a bit of a learning curve to cleaning and drying them but now that I have it down it’s no biggie. I will continue to collect these cause love not using plastic bags and they work great!
