Pilot Kneeboard for iPad (Strap Only. Does Not Include Case)

My son received several gift for Christmas and this one was the one he liked more. He already use it in his flights as pilot student. Shipping were on time, the product was well packed, I highly recommend this.

Most deceiving packaged advertisement ever. "Kneeboard" title keeps you deceived, This is just a thigh strap. Solid surface that they make such a big deal of pointing out is your own ipad cover that they can hopefully fit around. Haven't tried my product yet. Still getting over the shock of what I actually received vs what I thought I would receive. Lesson learned always stop and read reviews. Hope the quality is worth the price!!!!!

Some photos of this lil strap accurately show what this product is, but most photos, most are tricky. It's not a folder with a writing pad, no. It's just some crappy(WAY OVER PRICED) Velcro bit of strapping. Before you buy this, try getting a lighter and trash bag first. Use the lighter to burn $50 and then throw away the ashes in the bag. Then you'll know what its like to own this AppStrap.

I think it's misleading to show the picture with the writing surface / Apple case. Yes, I now see the text that says "Apple case not included". It's shown with that case in multiple photos. My pilot friend also didn't notice that.I think the case should only be in one photo, and faded out a bit bit. Given the high ratings (and shopping for multiple items), it was easy to overlook.Also, the product name includes the word "Kneeboard". To show a solid writing surface, and put the word "board" in the name, you'd sure think it had it. Since there's no rigid part, shouldn't it be just "strap", I think "board" implies a rigid surface.The strap seems decent, though less impressive for the price, given it's just a strap and a couple bits of velcro/pads, so I'm still giving it 3 stars, but it's certainly not "impressive".

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson who is an aviation student. He says it is perfect. I have to go with his opinion - I know nothing about these things!

Be aware!!! It is misleading to show the picture with the writing pad and of course I do see the text that says "Apple case not included".But they should not have used the word "Kneeboard". To show a solid writing pad in the picture and put the word "Kneeboard", anyone would expect it comes with a solid writing surface as I did. Now, I realize they were just misleading potential customers.I returned it.

The picture and actual product are not the same. I was expecting to received the product as pictured, less the ipad of course. Instead I received just a strap with clips. It looked similar to the extra straps and clips you get with a luggage set. I returned this product for a refund.
