Easy To Purchase Push Fit On Shower Rail And Back Into Full Operation Again in Super Quick Time.
Easy to purchase and fitted the same day of delivery. Now back to normal with push fit after a few days of a temporary plastic wood clamp.Original operated well for years and not sure why I was unable to fit back together and assume broken.

Genuine Aqualisa pinch grip fits Isystem Inline shower
Genuine part from Aqualisa, if unsure of sizing when buying a replacement it is shown very small on the bottom of the grey tube on the existing pinch grip. Aqualisa support was also really good at providing the correct sizing and product code.Installation is a bit of a fiddle. brief overview of the easiest way i found was to unclip the controller and rail from the shower wall and then detach the copper pipe and controller wire in the loft then lower the whole unit into the bathroom then slide the new pinch grip down from the top.detailed instructions:1. turn off the power to the shower and remove hose from the controller unit.2. Remove controller unit from wall: at the bottom of the controller unit there is a small screw you need to undo first. then firmly but gently pull straight back off the wall, it is held on by two plastic clips, be careful not to break them or pull too much that you could damage the connection to the top bracket when the clips release. Once released from the bottom bracket you slide the rail up to disconnect from the bracket at the top.3. Disconnect the copper pipe: (you might need someone to hold the shower whilst you disconnect it in the attic above) In the attic follow the cable from the shower rail and disconnect it from the remote unit. then disconnect the copper piping mine where simple push fit.4. Attach the pinch grip: Lower the whole unit into the shower room along with the cable from the loft then remove the old unit (don't forget this part or you look like a wally!) by sliding off the top of the rail and cable. Slide new pinch grip on the rail (writing on the grey tube faces down).5. Reconnect the cable and piping in the loft then slot the rail on the top shower bracket. Push the controller unit back onto the wall bracket and remember to secure with the little screw on the bottom. Attach hose, turn on power and then test.Good luck!

Really easy to fit in a few minutes
So i only needed to fit outer section as this was the bit that had broken. No removal of pole needed. You just keep the old central section that is already attached to the shower and replace the outer section. There are no instructions, and it isn't clear how to take it apart, but there's a metal pin that needs pushed out (using something hard with a smaller diameter, such as a hole punch or, if you're desperate, a pen). Then, once reassembled (on the old part attached to the shower) you just push the pin through and tap it in to its resting position.See before and after pics.

Is this item a genuine Aqualisa product as it is unbranded?
This item was not marked " Aqualisa Pinch Grip" on both sides as per my original .This makes me suspect it might not be a genuine Aqualisa part. It might be they have decided not to show the brand name on a replacement part. Yes it looks the same, I expected it to be branded hence only 3 star review. A leaflet inside the Jiffy Bag stated the following in B&W print.AQUALISAproduct update addendum"As part of our continuing product improvement and development we may from time to time , supply the latest and improved version of the spare part for your shower. Please rest assured the item you have received which may look slightly different, is fully compatible with your shower.702978 Rex01/ Sept 2016Second photo is my old part you can see the Aqualisa Pinch Grip logo, it is branded on both sides, the replacement part sent has no branding.

RIP OFF
This is an expensive rip off copy, original allows you to swivel your shower head, this one is fixed and you can't move it or stand under it so it is absolutely useless. Paid for a plumber to attach it at considerable cost and would need to pay again to remove it so l can return it to Amazon l am about £60 out of pocket to date and not sure what to do?

Great Replacement for My Broken Shower Holder!
I replaced my broken holder with the Aqualisa Pinch Grip Sliding Handset Holder, and it's fantastic. The chrome/grey finish looks sleek, and it fits perfectly. The pinch grip is super easy to use and sturdy. An excellent replacement, just like the original Aqualisa!
