seriously a waste of time. The art is nowhere near his normal standard. I couldn't read the rest.

Soft porn for mutants?
I found this in our library and, since I like X-men and graphic novels in general (and it didn't cost me anything), I took it home. Now my formative years were spent looking at and enjoying drawings of superheroines but this book is just stupid. I am unfamiliar with the artist, but from subsequent research have surmised he specialises in pornographic comics.I don't object to well-drawn women, but every single image, every single pose, every single look of the girls is sexualised to a ridiculous degree. The X-women, who don't even really look like the traditional characters, just behave in uncharacteristically slutty, wanton ways and it really ruins the image of a strong female character. It's even implicit that Kitty will have a three-way with two gay guys and that Rogue has lesbian feelings for Storm. Now all of the above sounds titilating, but it's not - it's just very annoying and as for the non-story...Read the traditonal stuff and if you need anything else, there are cheaper top-shelf magazines that can achieve the same quicker

Only for Manara fans
There's only one reason to buy this: if you love Manara's work and already have everything else he's done.If you're an X-Men fan looking for the usual superhero story, you won't like this. Check out Indian Summer, El Gaucho, or Paper Man, just to name a few of Manara's best works that might expand your horizons into real quality art and storytelling. If you were looking at this for the sexy women, try Manara's more erotic stuff like the Click series instead.
